With only 10 minutes to spare (miraculously getting out of work a little bit early) I was privileged to enter the Conference Center this evening and view the mortal vessel of President Russell M. Nelson. He was remarkable in innumerable ways. I admire him so and appreciate his tender yet unshakable leadership. His teachings always pointed and led to Christ. Peace filled the room. The spirit of God was present. I testify that Russell M. Nelson was and will always be a disciple and apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ and prophet of God.

@KintsugiJin Most often initiatories (time is a factor, but I do love to hear the promised blessings which I feel I need so much). More recently baptisms because I have two children of age and there is just something so special about the baptistery, the “gate”.

When you go to temple, what ordinance do you participate in mostly and why? Baptisms have a special place for me since I am a recent convert and Faith Meets Family was something I participated in for 2+ years gratefully. But I have a soft spot for the initiatories. Not because they're short, but because of the quiet, singular involvement with it as sacred words are shared and offered. I am able to prayerfully find closeness to my God in a way that is individual that doesn't happen as easily in the larger ordinances. I'd be happy if they were even longer tbh Just me? What's your go-to temple ordinance and why?

Whenever I give a lesson (which has been only twice before) I always feel like the group is annoyed and disconnected. What strategies work for you to have an engaged meeting that bears fruit from the discussion?

Drivers of I-15 in Utah either do not know this law or blatantly and selfishly abuse it. Level of awareness is 1/10. I commute nearly 500 miles a weeks on that interstate and it feels like I’m playing a game of reverse dodgeball.

Things are obviously not well as Apple. The hardware continues to be impecable, but the software has taken the biggest nose dive. They need to take an entire year, hire more people, and debug the SHIZ out of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, etc. We don’t care about features, we care about operability.

I remember my Mom telling me you were musically inclined. She also taught me about the connection between music and excelling in other areas of life, particularly education. She said she knows so many medical practitioners who are also music. And while I don’t claim to be the smartest in the room, I like to think that piano since age 7 gave me a boost as I perused my MSN, APRN. You are more than inclined, you are a MUSICIAN! We had a senior service missionary from the Utah Orem mission speak in sacrament meeting today. He told a story of another, younger service missionary in the mission. She was asked what she thought the difference was between enduring and being valiant. She said that enduring was what she did for herself while being valiant was what she did for others. I thought that was profound.
