@JoshInEncinitas The Panda Express manager pay is way too low. Average location grosses over $2.5 mil/yr with healthy double digit margins. Imagine having 15-20 direct reports, dealing with customers, health codes, suppliers, inventory, and also working nights, weekends and holidays.

Facts are important... Oil hasn't been $65 since Jan. and the highest intraday high was just short of $120 on Mar. 9th... Oil on Feb 28th, start of the war was about $76. Bottom line: With current CENTCOM actions, a realistic estimate of 70–80% chance of success, which I will define as safely escorted transits resuming within 1–2 months, not full, but enough to ease the worst oil shock. The U.S. has the military tools and political will, (Trump), to secure the strait militarily, success is probable but not guaranteed without costs or timeline slips. The scenarios remain highly fluid. But I disagree with your panic...

If only there was another moment when oil was about to hit $150 and a major financial crisis had already quietly emerged
