#fridayread time, here's a list of England's urban areas in 1600 from Ian Mortimer's excellent Time Travellers Guide to Elizabethan England. Many of our places were small towns at the time and wouldn't become big players until the Industrial Revolution 200 yrs later!

We are all horrified by the abhorrent attack on a Manchester Synagogue this morning. Our thoughts are with those who have died, were injured and everyone affected. We are working to support our residents and Manchester stands with our Jewish community at this darkest of moments
