Building @RungHealth_

12 months ago I had an idea for an app. My Apple Watch, for all it's uses, was my health and fitness go to. It tracked my sleep, recovery, exercise, nutrition, stress levels, RHR, HRV, etc. The list goes on. But that's all it did. There was no context. I had no idea why my recovery scores dipped on Wednesdays, or the affect a few beers after rugby on a Saturday was having. Or why my energy spiked on a Thursday afternoon. There was all this data, but nothing connecting the dots on my health and wellness. I wasn't tracking it at least anyway. And because of that, I created @RungHealth_ 12 months ago vibe coding wasn't great. It was really bad. Everything was fugly. Being a non-techie (although I do have web development experience), I couldn't get AI to build what I wanted. Fast forward 6 months to December 2025 and Claude Code takes a huge leap, and all my ideas were able to connect with each other and make an app that works the way I want it to. And today, Rung 1.0 went live on the App Store. Rung is an AI health coach that connects to your iOS and Apple Watch data to offer personalised, contextual health coaching. If you've always wanted to get more out of your Apple Watch for health purposes, now you can. Go download it, but sssshhhhh 🤫 don't tell the anti-vibe coders, they'll get mad... apps.apple.com/gb/app/rung-ai…
