@fudgeja Why do they keep Stewart and Aloy in the lineup? Last strike out for Aloy (and that’s mostly all he or a DP) he started walking back to dugout almost before the ump called it. And why is it that our new guys seem to hit better than those with year+ of Thompson coaching?

Man this team is not even watchable. What happened in 6 weeks?

@RazorbackBSB Dietz, Helfrick (of course) and now McElevan. Found a closer, a new Friday starter…. And Ryder, simply the best catcher in college BSB. Gotta also give kudos to Auburn starter. Super impressive.

@AlexHallwx I agree it’s likely the worst this time in the season. Been following Hog BSB since early 70’s when tough to even find on radio. But I think we owe DVH another shot at CWS, but he must find new assistants.

I feel Van Horn has already reached his peak. He is getting older, time to retire and get someone younger in there. Some of the worst hog baseball I have seen in years.

It was a 1-1 game in the 5th inning when a catchable live drive was hit toward right field. Now, we are watching Carson Brumbaugh make his first career appearance on the mound for Arkansas in a 9-1 game.

@MichaelMain__ You know what? Fans are starting to not give a $hit. Why should we when the coaches don’t? They are too lazy (or out of touch with players and opponents… with means too lazy) to do the work, provide the leadership to even compete. Very sad.

@FitHog Oh good grief. Of course we must complain. Do you not see / know the $$$ that the AD invested in this program and the $$$ that it brings in to keep moving the overall program forward? No excuse for such a horrible showing this year except lazy coaching.

Well, Arkansas baseball has been so good for so long, if we suck this year, we can’t complain too much. Hard to see us waking up from this nightmare, but you never know. Go Hogs!

Arkansas pitching has allowed Auburn to score 7 runs before recording 2 outs. This is unreal.

@BarstoolUA Yes. I think we are. Coaches have become lazy… including DVH. Lineups are erratic, pitching has deteriorated, and hitting??? Time to fire that coach. Will DVH do that? We know Yurachek won’t do a dang thing.

@TanzeyJon2991 @BarstoolUA Not this year. Team is just average. And coaches are way too comfortable. Example. Auburn opens the series with pitcher who has NEVER started an SEC game to save his guy for Sat. We just do what we do. So predictable and coaching laziness. That’s how you lose.

@BarstoolUA And, because its baseball, we can magically wake up tomorrow and go on an 8 out of 10 run that gets us babbling about hosting a super regional again.

@LawHog_WPS @RazorbackBSB You said it right. Do they think they deserve it??? They have to earn it.. every game, every line up. Thompson must go, Hobbs likely too. If DVH doesn’t get rid of one or both, then his time should be over too. Norm went 23 years, DVH at 24 is pushing it.

@RazorbackBSB DVH must man up and fire Thompson to start the search for an elite hitting coach. Better have a convo with Hobbs too because the pitching staff has been absolutely awful. If he refuses then put his neck on the chopping block too. I’m sick of not winning it all when we should.
