If you want a lottery pick on your team, you have to accept everything it could entail. These guys have generational wealth on the line & careers to think about; Mikel is genuinely hurt no matter what anyone says, he’d be playing if he could. You can’t have your cake & eat it too

lol So trade a proven NFL caliber, starting WR, for draft picks.. Then use said draft picks (so, makes it a wash) to draft an unproven WR to replace the hole you made by trading a good one, and hope that WR develops into the same production you got out of the one you just traded for said draft picks? No guarantees they will? Makes total sense.

Deep draft for WRs. Miami will be fine. Love everything they are doing right now. Draft, draft, draft. Waited YEARS for this type of approach. Became so sick of this team overpaying players and trying to build through FA. If we have patience these guys will get us there.

The Cards need Wooley to run the point and stay aggressive. Conwell to take and hit good shots. Hadley to continue being the smart do everything vet. McKneely to get hot from three. Zougris to help the front court inside.

This has been the most disappointing season in 30 years as a fan. Note I did not say the WORST season. We all know which season that was, but there were no expectations then. This entire season has been a major letdown, and the Mikel Brown situation has been unfortunate.

Am I delusional to say that if we hit on a starting guard and WR in the draft that this is a good offense? We obviously have to stay healthy too but Brewer & Paul are great, AJ & Salyer are serviceable, Achane is elite. No clear WR2 but this plays if you hit on those 2 positions. Willis I get is still a question mark so hinges A LOT on him but man it’s there.

I asked the University of Louisville if there was any sort of stipulation regarding Mikel Brown Jr. getting paid the exact amount that was agreed upon as part of his NIL deal when he joined UofL. The response: “Injuries will always be part of the game.
