The Labour government’s inheritance tax raid on family farmers has been backed by the House of Commons tonight. MPs voted 327 to 182, majority 145. Shame on everyone (overwhelmingly Labour MPs) who voted for this. express.co.uk/news/politics/…

The government wants to increase Fixed Penalty Notices for anyone breaching Public Space Protection Orders (PSPOs) from £100 to £500. What a racket. PSPOs can be issued by a single council official for the most anodyne activities. They then outsource enforcement to PRIVATE collection agencies who have the incentive to fine, fine and fine some more. This won't tackle anti-social behaviour. If anything, it encourages councils to attack sociability. Grrr...

“Death to the IDF!” “Free Palestine!” “From the river to the sea!” The crowd at #Glastonbury is ecstatic by the thought of genocide, they chant for ethnic cleansing and stripping Jews of their protection. All in the name of fighting for humanity. It feels like the 1930’s.
