As an avid reader since childhood, I've never been able to parse bullet lists, math notation, code syntax. I'm not one of these people who fatalistically declare they suck at math. I had best grades in school, and tried several times through adulthood to break through that wall.

Programming languages, a domain that does not have deep established cultural history, quickly adopted syntax formatting and highlighting, because those things are better for readability. Math notation has a much deeper cultural history, and also did a similar thing: math notation is inherently a very 2D language, because that's better for readability. I think it's reasonable to believe that the underlying advantages of these styles are likely also at least sometimes true for written text. Prose is one-dimensional because we historically have such a strong tradition of wanting spoken text and written text to correspond to each other. Now, we get an opportunity to re-evaluate that convention, and we discover that patterns other than one-dimensional linear prose are more reader-friendly, of which bullet points are a major one. I think this is all a healthy development.

One of the things that annoys me about some new entrepreneurs is that they don’t carry about a passion for the problem they’re trying to solve.
It’s almost this disease where they’ll do anything to get funding. Like change their entire product or idea on a whim if that means that’ll get them funded.
Obviously then, their goal here is that they want to be a “entrepreneur/founder” more than they want to bring their idea into life. Because if they are willing to abandon their idea at the first point of friction they must not be very passionate about it.
Imo, building anything from 0 to 1 is so egregiously difficult that unless you’re willing to chew glass for it, the chances of you being able to generate enough escape velocity to be relevant is almost 0.
Be passionate. It’s an endlessly renewable source of fuel.
