A timely reminder of the VAR show and Collum’s willingness to say one thing in one show and the opposite in the next. There’s no point having the show if he is going to twist his own opinion from month to month.

You listen to this, and then you’ve got the SFA CEO saying “yeah but they’re making mistakes in England too”. It’s not good enough and an absolute cop out.

If you want to see just how incompetent Collum is, just watch the bit they put up the IFAB graphic that shows the “T-shirt line” is clearly at the TOP of the bicep. Then watch him point to the middle of the bicep & claim “that’s the line” WHILE THE IFAB GRAPHIC IS STILL UP!

An absolute nonsense this, Johnston himself said it was probably a red 😂 Then making out it would’ve been a red if the tackle was face on, why should that matter? If that’s what Collum is going with then I expect every tackle like this to only be a yellow next season.

If application of VAR continues to be so explicitly wrong, it’ll only harm Scottish football more. Our game will become a bigger laughing stock, players won’t want to play there, some will lose interest/go elsewhere. A radical overhaul is needed now before the point of no return.
