🇮🇪 Craig Breen 🇮🇪
2nd of February 1990 - 13th of April 2023 🙏🏻
Hard to put into words let alone believe it’s been a 3 years since we lost Craig.
I will never forget when I got a notification that Craig was following me on here at a very early stage.
Thought it was a fake profile at first but that just shows you what Craig was all about.
Rallying really was in his blood.
Thinking so much for the family and friends of Craig Breen on this very difficult day.
R.I.P Craig and Gareth 🥹

@90sfootball Denis Irwin is the greatest fullback in the Premier league, end of discussion. Left or right

@PaulMcG1992 Traction control killed that element, it was fantastic to watch the drivers feather the throttle looking for the grip even in the dry

We had drifting (and then some) during the 1997 Monaco GP weekend, held at the Circuit de Monaco. #F1

@3Retro_Football That goal vs USSR in 88 is criminally underrated. It was eclipsed by Van Bastens goal in the final but imo equally as spectacular

Ronnie Whelan made his #Ireland debut against #Czechoslavakia back in 1981. He made 53 appearances for #Eire scoring these 3 goals, the second one is pure class 🫡 🇮🇪🍀

So You’re telling me Larry Goodman owns the office building for Dept of Health…
And also the Blackrock Clinic, Hermitage Clinic, Galway Clinic and Limerick Clinic, Dublin’s women’s health centre and more
All which receive tens of millions from Dept of Health, which in the last ten years has had its budget increased 101% by €14billion.

@mattletiss7 Jamie Carragher, Gary Neville, Raheem Sterling to go. Denis Irwin, Paolo Di Canio and Sammi Hypia in.

So, apart from me 😊who’s the one player on the list who has no right to be there?

Last month, @TheAthleticFC released an updated list of their Top 60 #PL Players of All Time. Some highlights: - Wayne Rooney 9th - David Silva over Paul Scholes - Jamie Vardy over Ruud van Nistelrooy - Didn't name Nemanja Vidic... 👀😶 [via @sportbible]

@JonArmstrong84 Unbelievably bad luck after what you endured all weekend. You've shown what you are capable of, onwards and upwards

OTL on SS16 ⚠
Despite our best efforts to fix the damage, we have went over the time limit and are out of the rally.

The "1,800 gallons of water per pound of beef" statistic is the greatest accounting fraud in environmental activism.
Here's how they calculate it: 94% is "green water" which is just rainfall that falls on pasture whether cattle exist or not.
This water was falling anyway. The grass absorbs it, the cow drinks some, pisses it back into the soil within 24 hours, and the grass uses it again. It's a cycle, not consumption.
If we counted rainfall for plant crops the same way, your quinoa would require 15,000 gallons per pound. But they don't. They only count irrigation for crops.
The 4% "blue water" is actual tap water or irrigation. For British grass-fed beef this is about 50 gallons per pound. The cow drinks it, pisses it out, it goes back into the water cycle immediately.
Compare to almonds which require 920 gallons of actual irrigation water per pound, drained from California aquifers that took 10,000 years to fill and will never refill.
The remaining 2% is "grey water" which is theoretical water needed to dilute runoff to safe levels. This is imaginary water. It doesn't exist. It's a mathematical construct.
The trick is simple: they count every drop of rain that touches grass as "beef water consumption" but ignore the same rainfall on crop fields.
Your grass-fed beef uses rain that was falling anyway on land that can't grow crops. Your almond milk drains prehistoric aquifers for intensive irrigation on prime agricultural land.
One uses renewable water in a closed cycle. One steals water from the future. But they present the statistics as if they're measuring the same thing. It's accounting fraud designed to reach a predetermined conclusion.
The rain was falling. The grass was growing. The water was cycling. Removing cattle doesn't save water. It just leaves the rain unused.

@SamaHoole One tank of fuel for an Airbus A380 was calculated to run a 3000 acre multi faceted farm for...........11 years. The farm was arable and livestock mix. It's no coincidence that atmosphere CO2 dropped during Covid when there was little to no air travel

A cow eats 25kg of grass per day.
That grass has already pulled CO2 from the atmosphere yesterday.
The cow burps some methane (made from that yesterday-CO2).
12 years later, that methane breaks down into... CO2.
Which grass absorbs tomorrow.
It's a closed loop. A circle. No new carbon enters the system.
Compare to your car: Burning carbon that was buried for 300 million years, releasing NEW carbon into atmosphere, creating actual accumulation.
One is a cycle. One is extraction.
But the cow gets blamed for climate change while you drive to the protest.
