Therefore, he would've still played the following match. Martinez woulda been tossed and suspended for semi's.. That's the point. Nothing forgotten here.

@khykheloormuur They've conveniently chosen to review plenty that has benefitted Argentina. If you are missing that, you're not watching. VAR is so selective that they can choose when/where they feel like deploying a review of fouls. It's a sham and should only be used for goals and offside.

This just proves people jump on the bandwagon and lose all objectivity when it comes to Argentina. The exact same thing happened in the USA vs Paraguay game and barely anyone cared. It happens to Argentina and suddenly it’s “Has this ever happened before?”

@PhillyPMC No, they're not. That was a clear dive, yes, but FIFA 100% dictates what they want or don't want VAR to check in on and when they do so. FIFA and officials have been carrying Argentina's bags all tournament.
