I’ve played the Pokemon 2009 Worlds format for 5 years and it’s the best metagame of any of any card game in history. Here are the best decks in the order you should build them, starting with the legendary Flygon Machamp, the deck that can do it all, go fast, go slow, or lock.

Very excited about potential reprints for a Celebrations 2. A few of these were not exactly what Id have chosen, but Uxie and Genesect are great starts and Lugia is a great distraction from what actually matters

2009? STL Regionals. Juniors. A few months later, Jason Klaczynski visited my local league in the middle of nowhere Kansas after doing some sponsored event nearby, and taught us proper deck building. The rest is history. Still have the signed cards and poster to this day.

A really unfortunate fact: Nintendo moved a lot of Switch 2 production out of China to Vietnam in anticipation of potential tariffs. This week Trump unexpectedly announced a 46% tariff to Vietnam exports, even higher than China's. $450 + 46% = $657

Alright here's my current, updated tier list! I tried to filter out a lot of the midseason formats while staying true to which ones people still play. 2010 is overrated, Base-Fossil remains my favorite, and I strive to be in the Top 5 players in that and 2009! Thoughts?
