@IAmNotABot34832 So harsh man. Colwill driving us up the pitch was our main outlet yday. Dribbled more than all of our other attackers combined. Decision making needs improving ofc but you can't ignore the fact he dragged us up the pitch time after time yday, he's a huge asset to the team.

@CardiffRugbyWeb Slightly harsh maybe given that it was on a knife edge w 10 to go? Thought that was the best the attack has looked for a while tonight. I like Sheedy but Ben showed him levels tonight at 10 imo. Insane they left the kicking duties especially with Sheedy this long.

Thomas Young - immense Rhys Barratt - definite potential Jacob Beetham - has so much quality to unlock Alun Lawrence - big No shortage of good individual performances, just never looked like turning that into a coherent winning showing.

@CardiffRugbyWeb Happy Ben 10/Sheedy dropped and Beetham finally gets a start. Bench looks thin pal.

Here's the Cardiff side to face Connacht; - Young is fit to start at 7 - Bevan & Ben team up at half-back - GHW & Beetham into the back three - Daniel returns to fitness on the bench - Litterick, Seven Storey Rory & Sheedy back in the 23 About as strong as we can go! 🔵⚫️

@CardiffRugbyWeb Agree 100%. On one hand a 6-2 tied our hands but we were also getting outmuscled up front and that only changed w intro of McNally and co. Tinus would have been the man for that game too, any idea when he'll be back? Hopefully Thomas will assume place kick duty from now on too.

The concern for Cardiff is it’s another game with spells of man advantage where we haven’t capitalised. There’s an element where that is out of our control today as losing Gabe Hamer-Webb and ending up with a makeshift 13 and a makeshift winger killed a lot of attacking threat…

@Cardiff_Central Interesting call to go with Mann over Thomas on the bench. Though Beetham might feature too.

Tough half to review, very stop-start with all the ill discipline. Would like to see Cymru holding on to possession when getting to width, recycling and going again rather than looking for the kick through. Back ourselves to hold on to the ball and build pressure. #WALvFIJ

@petewdavies1 Don’t think we were that bad today. We just don’t create high quality chances at all. Every cross from wide areas, inc free kicks and corners is absolutely dire. Lack of pace means we can never get in behind either. Tough for a manager imo.

Two dire performances after not a very good one. We are wholly reliant on Robinson. We have to keep him wrapped in cotton wool until Jan

@svendcarr17 Ppl talk about a lack of a striker but Bulut’s real crime was seeing how important Grant’s pace was in a slow front line last year and signing El Ghazi and Willock man. Shocking profiling. Isaak set back a killer.

@cpdnatxo Was poor midweek but throwing him on away at physical Luton wasn’t the best idea imo.

@g_r_owen Wales finally playing a preferred backline themselves only for them to do it vs these lot and prob come away with everyone absolutey battered ahead of so we have to revert to Tompkins, Watkin and co for rest of campaign 😍

@AlanGriff1927 @ccfcinsiderr He’s doing better as an 8 than I thought but I deffo agree, he kills our momentum too often. Picks the wrong (often hero) pass consistently insteaf of keeping the move going, looks to shoot, or just generally as you say weight of pass is off.

@MartinPBgDavis @mjccfc @GlenWilliams12 Fair enough if it was always the plan but I don’t think you can just disregard the argument given Bellamy’s opinion on him. Your second point about Wilson is redunant given Bellamy has rotated heavily and fielded a weaker 11 vs Montenegro w Cullen @ 10.

@mjccfc @GlenWilliams12 Couldn't be further from the truth Matt. He is there due to the U21 campaign being over, was always the plan for his international development. He was never get game time in the 10 role for Wales with Wilson on fire anyway. Has the opportunity to be a permanent fixture now.

Rubin Colwill rewarded for his fine form with Cardiff by being named in Craig Bellamy's Wales squad. Daniel James also returns after injury 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 walesonline.co.uk/sport/football…

@mjccfc Keeps playing how he’s playing and he’ll be fine. Don’t think he’s wrong about what he’s saying, think he’s spot on about his running volume being good now just still not that intense w it. Simply offsetting w “he’s a top player/profile/so much ability” would’ve made this fine.

@CardiffRugbyWeb Is there a significant difference between both as carriers, really? I know James is bigger but Thomas has been making metres for Cardiff this season I feel?

@cpdnatxo I don’t necessarily disagree, but it’s about picking a team to win not picking the best players. Think James’ better carrying is what Wales need at 12, then Thomas on when things open up a bit.
