@CustomerSuprtBA In DMs you ask for several types of PII. You already have my booking ref and flight number, which im your own system are connected to my details, including contact details. I don't trust X with more info than what they already have.

@British_Airways it's been a week since my last flight, and it's still not possible to get a boarding pass when I check in online. Customer Service can't help either.
When are you going to fix it?

@Katstodian_ @SquaredApe People who are responsible for their own work and given agency will choose what works best for them anyway. So I completely agree, better management gives better results.

@SquaredApe But the answer to that is not to require people to show up at a specific place at a specific time so you can monitor them. The answer to that is that you shield your goddamn people from it in the first place.

You can totally have team spirit and high productivity with 100% remote work, and if you require your (tech industry) people to work from a specific locale or during specific hours, I’m going to assume you’re managing through fear and control because you don’t trust people.

So turns out the increasing chronic pain I’ve been feeling regularly lately (as in over the past 2.5-2 years) is very likely due to local grade 2 endometriosis. I have feelings.
