Bit of a follow up, but I can see content creators using custom seas to make content that will draw people in, drawing people to all game modes not just custom seas

Custom seas will save sot What draws the most attention for games like rust, Fortnite, etc. are custom modes/set up events. An example would be rust twitch rivals I have seen people say this will take away a huge part of the game, but it’s just expanding on “tools not rules”

@cptn_rick @R_SotLeaks Yes, I noticed, but it's too weird. 1) We see them displayed inside the shroud and we see it open.
2) They're the size of Snugglar Bay; I don't think the Caribbean ones are that small.
3) They're displayed a few kilometers from the sot.

@Giovann69642526 @R_SotLeaks The islands are shaped like the Caribbean, its most likely just to represent the GMU is coming from there, but also through the shroud🙏🏽

@R_SotLeaks @cptn_rick yes, yes, I mean the islands inside the shroud, the ones above Smuglare Bay, are literally inside the shroud and you can see it from how the ship passes through them. It's not the Caribbean, it's new islands

@Giovann69642526 @SeaOfThieves I’m not trying to stir up controversy, it was just implemented very poorly for people who do not have time to play and grind out doubloons. I make music, and work full time… 10 doubloons each chest is too low

To put it another way: following May's update, the Bilge Rats Weekender is planned to happen the weekend before a monthly update goes live. The first opportunity for this following May's update is over the weekend before June's update.

My parting gift to the devs of @SeaOfThieves as a longstanding member of the soon to be closed Bilge Rat Stream Team is this genius concept that I fully expect to see in Season 21! I give you the Doubloon Baboon with his Doubloon Balloon! If you are able to find him on an island (or even on a rowboat as a marooned Doubloon Baboon) and are able to use a keg boom to pop the Doubloon Balloon of the Doubloon Baboon then you will be awarded Doubloons, this will be doubled if you undertake the task by the light of the silvery moon. @Giovann69642526 @Kokokatten Right but they said it was a monthly event, starting in April… so next month would me May not June. LLS is cool, but it’s really not enough for a whole month. With a BRW to coincide with LLS, it would feel really grand.

Woah, in June? It was supposed to be monthly, and nobody, nowhere said that in S19 there will be only one. I had a hunch with the make-up warning in deeds, but to go this far. Uh oh, expect a lot of backlash on this one, lol!
