@AbaloneOrtega That’s not unprecedented, nor are they near all time May records. It’s extremely hot, but in historical context these regions have repeatedly experienced similar temperatures for decades. Severe? Yes.
Unusual or unprecedented? No.
English

@Hodgheg90 Here’s a trend for you .. are you gonna be a denier? Do you have the ability to grasp statistics and how trend lines work?

English

Eemian. The Pliocene and Eemian interracial were both warmer than the Holocene, and both existed long before SUVs or factories.
Climate has always changed naturally. The Holocene had warm and cold phases, followed by the Little Ice Age .. the coldest periods of the Holocene.. which brought famine, crop failures, disease, and human suffering across much of the world. Our thermometer record began as we were emerging from that cold period, so context matters.
One hot day breaking an 80-year record is not proof of catastrophe. If temperatures were truly “unprecedented,” records would constantly fall everywhere year after year. Weather events need historical context, not emotional headlines.
CO2 is also not a pollutant; it’s plant food, and satellite observations show significant global greening over recent decades. A warmer world has historically coincided with agricultural expansion and human prosperity far more often than cold periods have.
The bigger concern is how climate fear is increasingly used politically: more taxes, more restrictions, more centralized control, and massive financial schemes pushed in the name of “saving the planet,” while debate itself is discouraged.
Science should allow questioning, uncertainty, and historical comparison… not blind acceptance of worst-case narratives.
English

I’m starting to think that I’m the only right-winger on this platform who believes that climate change is a real phenomenon.
Not saying it hasn’t been exaggerated in the media, but I just don’t see how you can wholesale reject it.
RS Archer@archer_rs
Apparently climate change is a myth.
English

@Met4CastUK lol .. one day out of the whole year, where every decade has temperatures above 30C and you believe it to be abnormal. That makes your critical thinking skills as abnormal… And when there’s record cold you say ‘Meh, it’s just weather’ .. certifiably retarded!
English

@MrLukeGeorge Ooh, so flashy colours and headlines are all it takes to hook you? A full year of below normal temperatures gets dismissed as ‘just weather’ yet suddenly 3 hot days in May become proof of catastrophic global warming. The inconsistency is almost impressive.
English

@newstem61 @CaesarsBestBoy @WarMonitor3 keep believing Greta and Jurgen .. you have no idea what Putin (or Trump.. or Jinping) would do if Washington, or Beijing were attacked.
There will be a Nuke used if NATO keeps propping up Ukraine.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
English

@newstem61 @CaesarsBestBoy @WarMonitor3 So you believe the post of a known propagandist activist .. good one! Nice source. Next you’ll be posting headlines from the National Enquirer and Greta Thunberg! 👍
English

@newstem61 @CaesarsBestBoy @WarMonitor3 1) Putin wouldn’t last a week. Where’s your proof of that?
2) sanctions would be off the charts. Where’s your proof of that?
3) even China would block them 100% .. where’s your proof of that?
4) it’s why Putin has never and never will. Where’s your proof of that?
English

@crabalocker2 @CaesarsBestBoy @WarMonitor3 What is incorrect about what I posted? What a very strange reply. The Putin force is strong with this one.

A man in Vancouver is pulled over. A resident psychiatrist he says never examined him tells him he is being “certified” under the Mental Health Act, and that police will now drive him to a hospital for testing he never agreed to.
His words, on camera: 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘢 𝘱𝘴𝘺𝘤𝘩 𝘦𝘷𝘢𝘭 𝘰𝘳 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨. 𝘏𝘦 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥, 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘥.
Here is the part that should stop you cold: under British Columbia's law, that may be 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥. One physician's signature on a single form authorizes holding you for 48 hours. A second buys a full month. A 2009 BC appeals court ruling found the doctor doesn't even have to personally interview you first — notes from your family and a look can be enough.
It gets worse. BC is 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐚 where, once you are certified, you are “deemed to consent” to whatever treatment they choose — forced medication included. You cannot refuse. There is no automatic hearing; you have to apply for one yourself, and you can wait up to two weeks while they hold and medicate you.
And these aren't paper safeguards that quietly work. When BC's own Ombudsperson audited these detentions, 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟖% 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬 had the legally required forms filled out. More than half of patients were never even handed the document telling them they had a right to fight it.
This is not some rare glitch. Involuntary detentions in BC rose 66% in a decade. Police apprehensions under the act more than doubled. Over 20,000 people a year.
A man can be taken from the roadside, locked in a ward, and medicated against his will on one stranger's say-so, with no judge anywhere in sight. Canada's own courts are now being asked whether that violates the Charter. The ruling is still pending.

@newstem61 @CaesarsBestBoy @WarMonitor3 What exactly am ‘believing from the Kremlin’ instead of my own research?
You made the accusation, so back it up with specifics. Point out what’s false and provide evidence. Otherwise it’s just empty hyperbole and recycled rhetoric with nothing substantive behind it.
English

@crabalocker2 @CaesarsBestBoy @WarMonitor3 Everything in your post. Ignoring the massive number of war crimes committed by Russia over decades, not just in Ukraine.
English

lol .. your conjecture and immature views are amazing. Not surprising though. Ukraine 🇺🇦 attacks Moscow and kids dormitories .. 🇺🇦 will feel the wrath. They didn’t take the message and attacked another oil refinery so there will be a nuke fired in a remote area as a final warning. Not just for Ukraine but Europe and NATO.
English

Have you considered what would happen to Russia if it fired one at a capital city?
Putin wouldn't last a week.
Sanctions would be off the charts.
Even China would block Russia 100%. It doesn't want to be in a world where nukes are fired out of pure hatred and aggression.
This is why Putin has never, and will never, fire a nuke. It means total failure.
English

@Olgagolubk1998 @Fer_Muza @yarotrof It’s called facts. If you refuse to examine them or accept them, that’s on you. That’s the difference between critical thinking and blind ideology. My opinion follows evidence and logic; and your sheepleness leans on emotion and dogma instead of facts.👍
English

Russia threatened to do this if Ukraine attacked the May 9 parade on the Red Square. After Trump’s intervention on Putin’s behalf, Ukraine agreed to a ceasefire so Russia could hold the parade. Two weeks later, Putin unleashed the ballistic missile barrage on central Kyiv anyway.
Ostap Yarysh@OstapYarysh
Horrific. Morning footage from Kyiv Ukraine after Russia poured ballistic missiles on civilian neighborhoods, targeting apartment buildings, schools, markets, and bomb shelters full of people. Video: @radiosvoboda's reporter Serhii Nuzhnenko.

@GabeZZOZZ Because their little TV box told them to. Most people have zero critical thinking skills.
English

@crabalocker2 @yarotrof Hahaha. Pretty funny how you call me "lefty" when your NATO nonsense is precisely the same argument used by the leftist putinist to defend Putin as an "antimperialist"
One thing Putin does well, is to unite the worst of the worst of both left and right around him, all the scum
English

@crabalocker2 @yarotrof Yeah. Keep with the russian propaganda extracted directly from the balls of putin while you are sucking them.
