@jackrichrdson don’t think the Sens are asking taxpayers to build the arena itself. They’re asking for infrastructure money (roads, transit, utilities, etc.) around LeBreton stuff the City of Ottawa would own & every big downtown project gets. That’s not same as handing Andlauer a cheque

The other interesting thing about the Senators asking the federal government for arena funding is that they’re purchasing LeBreton Flats from the NCC - which is a federal crown corporation.
