@JaneFallon I had surgery in 2013, I was lucky that they did it with clear margins. But then had chemo, radiotherapy and then tamoxifen for the best part of ten years, the side effects are different for everyone, but for me 10 years of hot flushes and little sleep. Keep us posted xx

Little update. I tried to do a video but, as you can see, I was being heckled. So, the 2nd surgery went well. It gave them a clear margin for the original excision which is great. They did hit a new patch of precancerous cells on the other side of the new bit but, thankfully …

This is Valerie, Rick's wife. He particularly asked me to make sure that his Twitter friends were informed about his illness and his passing. His esophageal cancer metastasized and spread quickly. He died at home in my arms with his daughters close by. My heart is breaking.

My wife was on the late train from London to Kemble last night when this bloke got on with a big old fashioned lamp and plugged it in. I approve.

Ant got a shout out from his area manager today for buying shopping and lunch for the paramedics while at work. I'm honestly so proud of my future husband 😭😭😭 that no matter how much upset hes been through that he can still be the kindest person during this horrible time.
