When @ashtom goes off to start something new, you pay attention. @keithpitt I don’t see any verification alongside the check. It appears that you can effectively run the last part of the script on its own and skip running the tests entirely (from what I can tell).

He's not wrong. There's very little benefit of a CI/CD platform if your whole test suite can run in a minute.
However, I'm skeptical that the 3 minutes of time save is due to a faster CPU. Having a working copy of the app + all deps pre-installed is playing a major role here.

@taybenlor @iress is another large company (which I work for) which has offices in Melbourne and Sydney but is also global. Supports working remotely, lot's of challenges, uses AWS and is a fun and friendly place to work.
