@M1das_OW2 scaling comeback buffs, location by default at 10, then at 15% and more you offer the buffs scaling from 10% resist to 35% cap at max come back (15-25+ soul deficit) to reduce the need to gimmick comeback percentage by dying before spawn

new urn implementation is a step in the right direction - still not a fan of the 10% = urn of doom so would like to see incremental comeback someday tested

cont. - comeback needs a nerf by being incremental (20% down souls gives you the 50% aura maybe and 10% is 25%) - comeback on all sources removed and keep current urn comeback is also an idea - move urn to side lane or make mid boss spawn at 20 - longer urn intervals not 5 mins

final thoughts on new urn in deadlock - good concept that needs polish - mid location is too snowbally (win fight=mid 99% of time now past 15) - punch and dunk time is too fast, should be frozen timer while enemies are near urn to allow a real teamfight - need draft asap

The biggest problem with the new Urn in Deadlock isn't even the comeback balance (fixable). It's that it forces 6v6 team fights every 5 minutes. Old Urn had a lot more variety in that fights were often between 5v5 and 4v4. Rarely did you pull your entire team to fight Urn. Deadlock is a deeper, richer game when you have more complex choices about how to allocate your players around the map.

it's also hard to take competitive integrity seriously when funnily enough the two teams with direct developer access are versing each other in the finals. If you’re actively helping shape patches and getting insight before public release, that’s an extreme advantage ESPECIALLY when a major update drops a DAY BEFORE the event. we can’t prep equally when some teams effectively get early information. teams with players that are in the "experimental server" or in contact with the developers should not be allowed to compete in my opinion. i can also confidently state this because i was previously in the "experimental server" and the information that I was receiving would have been extremely advantageous had I been playing on a team at that time. for context the "experimental server" is essentially a PTR to give and receive feedback to the developers directly through messages

good urn mechanics when you get punished for being up 20% souls at 10 minutes so you have to literally run it down into their walker in a competitive match to try and make the urn not comeback very good mechanics comeback souls, comeback urn, comeback death timer, comeback resist

I'm usually very optimistic about changes in Deadlock, and I'm happy the devs are experimenting - but the new urn has felt awful for me in my games so far. All the important objectives are now mid lane, and the urn fight feels extremely goofy in a bad way imo
