@Adam75003394 @MattWallaceTech I see what you are saying about Tesla fans seeming cultist, but perhaps try it out? If you can charge at home & the size of the vehicle makes sense for you/your family they really are the best cars you can buy. Very few downsides to Teslas.

@MattWallaceTech Why is it that testiclites like you need to justify the poor decision you made in buying an EV? Those that are happy with their purchases don't post. That's why I don't switch to EV too many its the perfect car posts.

I did a cost breakdown to drive a gas car vs an EV 1200 miles a month and the results are shocking. Also this is just my situation and varies from state to state. Gas 5 year cost- over $16,000 EV 5 year cost-$1440

16 years ago I waited in a long line outside the apple store to buy the first ipad. I was so excited to walk home with it! The very next morning I dropped it on the bathroom floor and cracked the screen. And I don’t mean a tiny crack. It was completely wrecked. There was no apple care back then. I wasn’t earning that much. I was devastated. I went back to the apple store to see if they can replace the screen and how much it would cost. I was afraid the only solution was to buy a new one. “Hi how can I help you?” “I’m a dumbass” and showed him the cracked screen. “Oh man. Let me see what I can do.” He took my cracked ipad somewhere in the back. About ten minutes later he came back. He was holding a box. “Be more careful next time.” He handed me a brand new ipad. For free. I couldn’t believe it. He didn’t have to do that. He could’ve just said “sorry nothing we can do” but instead he went and persuaded his boss to do a good deed for a complete stranger. I don’t think stuff like this happens anymore. But 16 years ago, that interaction with an apple store employee left a profound mark on me.

The final 2 weeks of an NBA regular season used to be amazing, intense, dramatic. This is an absolute disaster. And you knew looking at Fri slate that half of the teams playing didn’t want to win. The games and results don’t matter any more. It’s sad.
