Can you believe in 2026 many people still think it takes days to charge a Tesla at home?
No it does not. Get home at 10pm, plug it in, and it'll be fully charged before the sun comes up. Ready for you in the morning.
Charging a Tesla at home is easier than going to a gas station. It's time to stop believing the myths.

Funny.
My car didn’t get the memo.
Maybe the real issue isn’t the technology.
Maybe it’s that some opinions are just… pre-installed.

People are really misinformed about how long it takes to charge a Tesla.
No it does not take 30 hours. You might use 20 to 30% of the battery in a day. Come home, plug it in, and by the time you're done with dinner it's fully charged.
Do you use all your gas in one day? No. It's the same with an EV.
Even if you get home late at 11pm, by early morning the car is fully charged and ready before the sun comes up.
Owning an EV is not as hard as non owners make it seem. It's actually way easier than owning a gas car.

If you want a Tesla Wall Connector, that's $450 and about $500 to install. Get home, plug it in, and by the time you finish making dinner it's fully charged. Charging at home can cost you under $3 a day. No more spending $60 a week on gas. The savings of driving an EV are HUGE and it starts on day one. What's stopping you from making the switch?

l've been exposed to policing and police culture my entire life (Dad was a Cop, my parents had 5 boys, 4 of us became Cops). I'm very well aware of current challenges facing police services across the country, and I say this with confidence - it's still a great career option and there's never been a better time to join.
Whether you're an experienced police officer or you're just starting out, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police is a great option. I have many friends with the RCMP who either started out with them, or transferred from another service, and they couldn't be happier.
