It isn't right, of course. Nor is it right that my precious daughter of only 15 years died due to complications from surgery after years of suffering from spina bifida and it's related medical conditions. But you have to remember that we currently live in a broken world. And while God *will* make it all right one day, and hopefully soon, in the meanwhile we will have tribulations just as we were told by Jesus. If we expect God to grant miracles everywhere we want them, then people will come to Him just for the miracles like he is a vending machine. We live in an age that will be looked upon for eternity as the time frame as to when we did things our own way apart from God as a people. There is death and disease and traumatic accidents and things that are extremely sad and difficult. But we will have this time to examine forever and it will help us make sure we never rebel and decide to do things our own way apart from him again as we did starting in The Garden. When we are in that time frame, we will look back on this as just a short time, which is why Paul says these are momentary and light afflictions compared to our eternal glory. And we will likely wish we had done things differently since we knew it would be short. Kind of like a Schindler's moment where he said at the end that he could have done more. I know, I know. It's easier said than done. But we can do it together, in Christian community yet still with tears and sadness...but also with joy in our hearts because we know we will be with our believing loved ones forever. Keep on keeping on, dear lady. ✝️🙏❤️
