
ok ill be honest, in the past 7 months i believe? im very very distracted and emotional creating a business
and i FINALLY found the source of the problems
1. environment
- i live in an environment where being a passive consumer is normalized, most of my family members are passive consuming which made my subconscious to do it the same
solution: i MUST go outside home to FULLY focus on the work i promised to do
2. digital consumption
- i used too much social media and video games instead of using work apps (google docs, miro, canva etc) which barely had more than 1 hour of screen time for productivity apps
and i had a lot of 2h+ social media and video game usage
solution: purposely add more FRICTION to use dopamine hitting apps (social media and gaming) and encourage myself to do more high value activities instead
(just to clarify that im using miku wig as an easy reference to cosplaying lol)
i cant change the past, but i can change the trajectory in the future, right NOW
did i waste a lot of time? absolutely, and it is better late than never.
lesson for this year:
change your priorities if you want to achieve ANYTHING, either its business, fitness or anything.
