I wasted years in motion design until I started doing this: slow mo the edit you admire open After Effects rebuild that edit from scratch this one habit will make you improve stupid fast.

@creatoroly Doing this is what taught me after effects. This is actually the method

not so much, the main thing is picking one complex video you genuinely like, then breaking it down frame by frame to understand how each animation was built. After you rebuild it yourself, it stops being “a trick” and turns into muscle memory. Next time you edit, you’ll naturally reach for those moves without thinking and it honestly feels like you just unlocked a new level in a game.
