Based on the facts available his relapse woulda hurt himself and likely those close to him. No one in the NHL was hurt by his relapse, unless something else happened

#Avs forward Val Nichushkin has been suspended without pay for a minimum 6 months for violating terms of #NHL/#NHLPA Player Assistance Program. Sources say Nichushkin recently failed a drug test. He missed playoff games last year after a 911 call in Seattle in which an intoxicated woman was found in his room.

@Jay_D_Rosehill @frank_seravalli Addiction can take a horrible grip. I'm a recovering gambling addict who has relapsed several times. It's rarely a straight line. I'm shocked the NHLPA agreed to an "assistance program" that is designed to punish people already going through a relapse!
