Honestly, wholeheartedly agree and am living this. The biggest challenges boil down to kids coming first (your needs and couple time take a backseat), the ex staying in the picture with ongoing drama and logistics, step-parenting struggles around bonding, discipline, and potential resentment, plus all the inherited emotional and financial baggage from her past. Definitely very fulfilling in a relationship of faith and partnership.

Scammers posing as Amazon, U.S. Marshals, and local police convinced her her accounts were tied to money laundering and trafficking. She handed over $40K cash in a duct-taped shoebox… then nearly lost $400K turned into 80 gold bars in a Starbucks parking lot drop. Westerville PD ran a perfect sting — cops swarmed the lot and arrested the courier, Ankush, on the spot. Illinois DL + Indian passport. Spoke almost no English. Confirmed in the U.S. illegally Victim: A 76-year-old Westerville woman. ⏺️ Scam details (started around February 2026): Scammers impersonated Amazon customer service, then claimed to be U.S. Marshals and Westerville police. They convinced her that her accounts were compromised and tied to serious crimes (money laundering, sex/drug trafficking). They pressured her to “protect” her money by: ⏺️ First withdrawing ~$40,000 cash (which she handed over in a duct-taped shoebox to a “federal agent” who came to her home). ⏺️ Then withdrawing another ~$400,000, converting it into 80 gold bars, and delivering them to a contact at a local Starbucks parking lot. ⏺️ The sting and arrest: Westerville police were tipped off and set up surveillance. In April 2026, the suspect (identified only by the first name Ankush) showed up in the Starbucks lot expecting to pick up the gold bars. Officers surrounded his car and arrested him on the spot. ⏺️ Charges: Attempted theft from a protected person + telecommunications fraud. ⏺️ Suspect background (per Westerville police): Ankush had an Illinois driver’s license and an Indian passport. He spoke little English, provided no last name, and authorities confirmed he was in the United States illegally. He was booked into the Delaware County jail.

Most men think of marriage like a team sport. Most women are free agents. They will do what they think is best for them as an individual( no hate. Just stating and observation). As a man you have to start thinking like a team owner in the nfl. Most contracts in the NFL(the NBA has guaranteed contracts) have very little if any guaranteed money. This is by Design. Structure your life in such a way that if you do accept a woman's company long-term you do not put yourself in position where you are stuck paying off a contract for an unproductive team member.

@raifordpalmer @JoshuaLisec My take, women are sticking with husbands they feel are emotionally engaging, provider/protector roles (despite their real and actual value) have become de incentivized by society as a whole. That’s the crux of it.

I can say anecdotally that women (and men) who are the house-spouse eventually lose it as the kids get older, esp with higher income households. My take: there’s nothing to do, so people go nuts. Just like retiring, people need things to do. We need some stress in our lives, some kind of focus. When the kids are off to school, and you have a cleaning person coming once a week, “chores” don’t take all day. After an hour or two of working around the house, people bounce off the walls. They then start doomscrolling social media and deciding they hate life - we externalize things so naturally the reason for the problem is the other spouse. I’ve seen this pattern many times (again not male/female, the person who stays home and does not work). There are exceptions but they are rare - example, we have some dear married friends with 4 young kids, and the wife is busy homeschooling the children, she cooks every meal, she keeps the house beautiful, she is very active in local groups and church, etc. She’s dealing with all the kids constantly and is a great mom. They are very happy. If people keep busy they are fine. I just did a consultation where the (high net worth/high income) husband told me his wife has been accusing him of an affair for the last several months, he assured me this was not true (people tell their divorce lawyers the truth, we need to know). I asked more questions and it turned out she was a stay-at-home mom and the youngest child finally went away to college in the fall. I said, “Have you considered that she has nothing to think about, no cares in the world, so she might be inventing problems?” Humans do this. We need conflict in order to be happy. We need challenge to feel good. People get so far up Maslow’s Hierarchy that they fall off the top.

Hearing this more and more across my network. The more the husband earns, and the more childcare and housework he does, AND the less his wife does of both, the more embittered she becomes — till finally, divorce. What are you seeing, @raifordpalmer?

They want peace, prosperity, and results for Ohio - not more hate, division, and talk of “armed revolution.” Plus, the White Republican of Ohio did not think that "Sending J*** back to the Ovens" would be a winning strategy which is why Putsch lost EVERY SINGLE COUNTY. The big question remains: Since Vivek will never want his endorsement, will Casey quietly fade into the dustbin of history - or will he do what Nick Fuentes has long suggested, and campaign for the Democrats? Ohio predominantly White Republicans just proved they’re smarter than the grift. THE TIMELINE MATTERS. Casey Putsch supporters pointed to Trump’s January 13, 2024 Truth Social post from the presidential primary before the Iowa caucuses. That post criticized Vivek Ramaswamy’s tactics and said he was “not MAGA.” But over a year later, Trump posted a very different message: Vivek Ramaswamy is running for governor of Ohio, he is “young, strong, and smart,” and he has Trump’s “complete and total endorsement.” Leaving out the later endorsement does not tell voters the full story. The numbers behind this are even further proof that the Woke Right is a fake social media phenomenon and an op. Vivek beat his Woke Right clown opponent with something like 82% or more of the vote. Identity politics, victimhood, extremism, and Woke aren't the GOP in America.
