2025 IPL Iyer wouldn't have been able to do much with his personal batting and captaincy whereas in 2026 he would have certainly initiated the right purchases and LSG would have performed better

If Sanjiv Goenka had spent the money which he spent on Rishabh Pant with same desperation, he would have had time of his life as sports team owner!! Shreyas Iyer is just so damn good, he would have taken this LSG team also to final with this great bowling attack.

LSG is playing with only 3 overseas better & playing with parchis like Himmat Singh, Abdul Samad but not giving a single chance to internationally proven player like Mathew Breetzke. Breetzke has done it at international level as well as in leagues!!

@vinayakkm Byes aren’t charged to the bowler because the batter didn’t hit the ball, whereas overthrows are counted against the bowler since they arise from a live play after the batter’s involvement

@IndianMourinho They need change in leadership and not in personnel. Make them play in their respective slots and results will automatically follow. Have Linde in the playing XI, Breetzke as opener. Badoni in the middle order and Pant at 4. Right slotting would mean 2/3 wins up for grabs

I have seen some truly awful T20 teams. Years of Melbourne Renegades. SKNP. The old KXIP and RCB sides. But this LSG season is a masterclass in how to get everything wrong. Shami at 8. Himmat at 7. Buying Inglis despite knowing he would not be available and would be hard to fit into the XI. Retaining a young Indian express quick for 10 cr even though that player profile is historically the most injury prone in T20 cricket. And genuinely believing Markram and Marsh, two players with similar weaknesses, would keep working when paired together
