Llongyfarchiadau!! 🙌👏🤩 Huge congratulations to our Sixth Form Learners! Here is a snapshot of Results Day so far! Official photos and press release will follow later today. 👏👏👏👏✨✨✨✨✨

Year 12 students will be sent their results to their school email address from 9am and those needing specific advice can come in for suppport 10 a.m. -12:30pm. Otherwise, subject specialist guidance can be given in September.

We wish A Level/ Level 3 students the best of luck for tomorrow for their results. A letter has been sent to parents/carers and students detailing the plans and timings for the day. Year 13 students are encouraged to come in from 8am to receive their results and guidance.

Careers Day in School! 22 employers, uni’s &colleges visited, to inform learners about pathways available to them, plus a full day of careers lessons.Thanks to staff & @CareersWales for engaging a diverse range of employers and for their continued support. Diolch i bawb! 🙌 #CWRE

The barriers will be open outside of the working hours through the summer. Open: 6-8am and 4 -10:30pm Mon - Fri All weekend but closing 10:30pm Sun The barriers will also be up on our GCSE and A Level Results Days to ensure our celebrations can continue as normal.

Due to major projects on the school site over the summer, Powys County Council have instructed us to close the car park barriers during working hours. This is to ensure public safety and to manage the risks associated the works. Please see rest of post below...

We are pleased to announce the appointment of our new 6th form leadership team for 2026. Verity J and Kaitlyn H as Head students , Joe C and Harry P as Deputy Head students, alongside our full 6th form Leadership Team. We would like to congratulate all students! 👏

An amazing trip to Theatr Brycheiniog for our learners yesterday who went to listen to a talk and a concert with the Welsh National Opera.They engaged, behaved immaculately and were brilliant ambassadors for our school. They even had mention! Diolch a da iawn to all involved!

*Uniform update! Due to continued, warm weather for the next two weeks and listening to ‘Learner Voice’, we have decided to allow the School, official PE kit to be worn until the end of Term. We ask parents/carers to support us in ensuring the correct kit is worn. Diolch!

Fantastic sessions with @LibDemDavid engaging in discussions about social media and politics, with Student Council and the learners who are interested in a career in politics. Diolch David for engaging our young people in having a voice and making a difference! 🗣️

A very continental evening for the group last night, a late dinner outside, then cooling off in the fountain before heading to the east side gallery to view remnants of the Berlin Wall. Topping off another busy day! 🇩🇪

A great first evening on Oxford with @TheSerenAcademy learners ✨. Met a lovely student who showed us around @UniofOxford Off to the Open Days today! Diolch @powyseducation for arranging!

Students are permitted to wear our official school PE kit for the rest of this week! (Until 4/7/25) We hope this will help them to be comfortable and focus on their learning, in the warm temperatures☀️We will review this on Friday and inform parents and carers about next week.
