Today, one of the big platform manipulation accounts took aim at me.
It looks like their efforts backfired. I have already gained hundreds of new followers from the attention they drew to my account.
Thank you for the free marketing. And thank you to all who have chosen to follow me. 🫡
Let me be clear. If you steal from the 𝕏 ad revenue program, you’re stealing from the hardworking creators who bust their asses every day to make 𝕏 the best platform on earth.
And if you’ve been posting fake payout screenshots to gain followers and engagement, you’re nothing but a scam artist.
Either way, you are scum.
Have a great week, everyone!

X's Creator Program: Facts vs. Fiction
1. In 7 months since the creation of the Ads Rev Share program, X has paid out more than $45 million to more than 150,000 creators.
2. Creator payouts did not exist on this platform before the Ads Rev Share program.
3. Creators keep all the revenue from creator subs after fees (X keeps nothing) for the first $100K, then it’s just 10% to X and rest to Creators.
4. Program is available to Creators globally.
5. Easier to join than other Creator Programs and X has transparent terms for all Creators.
6. Payouts are every 2 weeks for our Ads Rev sharing program (might be fastest in the industry).
7. Right now this is just for reply ads and profile ads, but X will soon expand to video ads!
Stay tuned for more!

@NimraReal even X employee call you Posted fake, shame on you
Eric Farraro@EFarraro
@monetization_x It's extremely easy even for amateurs to fake this type of screenshot, including video, by editing the HTML source of the page or email. I see tons of people posting engagement bait like this every week. For actual offenders, it's 100% against the monetization terms of service.

**My Journey with X Ad Revenue Sharing: The Ups,
Downs, and What Comes Next**
Hey everyone! I wanted to share a bit about my recent
experience with X Ad Revenue Sharing. Recently, I
received two payouts: the first was $30.24, and the
second was $20.46. I won't sugarcoat it: seeing those
numbers was a punch to the gut. After all the time and
effort I'd invested, those figures felt like a letdown.
I was already navigating some personal challenges
(which I won't bore you with), but that payout was the
straw that almost broke me. For a fleeting moment, I
felt truly defeated. I turned in early last night, grappling
with the weight of my disappointment.
But woke up with clarity. I woke up determined
not to be bested by these setbacks. The low payout
was a glaring sign that I needed to change my
approach. As Tony Robbins wisely said, "When you fail,
you ponder." This failure offered me a golden
opportunity to introspect and recalibrate.
Over the past two weeks, I became what many call
the 'reply guy', feverishly commenting on numerous
large accounts. But this morning, two key insights
dawned upon me:
Quality Over Quantity: Instead of leaving a barrage of
comments, I need to focus on providing valuable
insights that add to the conversation.
Refine My Posting Strategy: The traffic from my
comments leads people to my profile. But with my
frequent posts, they miss the truly informative content.
Time to post less but with more substance.
with these insights, I'm setting new goals for the
next two weeks:
I'll keep you all updated on my progress after my next
payout. Also, I'll be archiving these bi-weekly updates
in my highlights. If you're new here, you can easily track
my journey, the strategies I've tried, and the lessons
learned.
Thank you for being a part of this journey. Remember,
every setback is a setup for a greater comeback.
Onward and upward!

I get a lot of questions every time we do a creator revenue share payout on X (more than I could possibly respond to). Let's talk about common questions from creators when we do a payout.
The two biggest questions I get are:
(1) I didn't get a payment
(2) My payment was low
On (1), there is a minimum payout threshold of $10. If you don't meet the threshold, you aren't paid during that payout. You do of course keep accumulating earnings until you reach the threshold, until $10 is reached.
There are many practical reasons for this. The most important reason is fees associated with the transfer, which would potentially eat into a creator's earnings.
On (2), I've looked into dozens of cases about low payouts, especially for high follower / high impression accounts. Many creators assume that ads CPM x impression = their payout, but unfortunately it's not that simple. Although high impressions are of course correlated with a larger payout, the demographic of your audience and how they engage is also a very important factor.
Major factors that explain why such an account may receive a lower payout than expected include:
1. Ads are shown, but the audience is not Verified. Revenue is only earned for ads shown to Verified users. This is one of many ways we mitigate attempts to manipulate the program.
2. Ads are shown, but the ad spend on ads shown to the creator's demographic is low. It's a revenue share program - creators earn a % of what X earns. Ads generate more revenue in different markets and to different audiences.
3. Some of the creator's content may not be suitable for ads. If we can't show ads on some of your posts, that affects your revenue.
4. Content is compelling to scroll by in the timeline, but not compelling to reply to. Typically these accounts that generate high impressions but low replies - meaning less ads shown to their followers.
Everything I covered here can also be seen in the terms of the Ad Revenue program here: help.twitter.com/en/using-x/cre…
We'd like to improve the transparency in the product itself to help creators better understand how well their content is monetizing and what they can do to improve it. In the meantime, I wanted to summarize a few observations from doing deep data dives on earnings from many creators.
