Most Shopify stores don’t need more traffic.
They need better structure.
I break down:
– why stores struggle to convert
– how to fix trust & CRO issues
– what to fix before scaling ads
I’m also giving access to a private Shopify Growth Vault
for store owners who want clarity, not noise.

@vbronjames @replohq It's a necessity but commonly ignored

As a long-time reseller in archive fashion, I've noticed that too many of us use the same recycled Shopify templates. No shade on Shopify - it works - but you deserve a site + seller UX as beautiful & magical as your products.
That's what we'll deliver with the @replohq agent

@crimsonmarketer @socraticainfo It just feels so npc 9-5 like this need niche stickers
English

only reason i wanted to go to @socraticainfo was to collect niche stickers of tech nobodys heard of for my macbook. right now it's completely blank and i look like i stole it from a shopify employee 😭

@Daniel_adsss Well hopefully they realize sooner and stop wasting money

@crimsonmarketer All of them think is a magic wand not knowing they need an architect

If your support bot costs $5 just to say “hi,” that’s a money leak.
The problem is simple: people keep dumping everything into the model. Full Shopify data, whole chat history, every single turn. It works, but it’s slow, expensive, and starts acting weird.
The fix is actually chill. Just give the model what it needs not everything you have.
Pull only the key stuff like order ID, status, tracking link.
Keep a short summary of the conversation in the background. Then each time, the model just sees the user’s message + that small summary.
Now it’s faster, cheaper, and way more stable.
At scale, that’s the difference between profit and pain.
Prompt engineering is nice… but controlling tokens?
That’s what really pays.

@DavidMagee @mcfazeli @pmillegan @Shopify I absolutely agree with these don't know about open Ai but Ai isn't as far as long as portrayed here on X
English

@crimsonmarketer @mcfazeli @pmillegan @Shopify I agree, but I think it is further away (for the majority of people) than those of us on X think.
I also think it won’t be with OpenAI - I don’t think they’ll survive the next 18m.

Starting this week, millions of @Shopify merchants can sell in ChatGPT, into the US.
Their PDP, their checkout, their customizations, no extra setup.
AI is a new front door to commerce. Shopify is what’s behind it everywhere.

I build Shopify landing pages in Replo that are designed to convert from day one.
No bloated code. No slow dev cycles. Just clean, strategic pages your customers actually respond to.
If you’re a DTC brand scaling with paid ads my DMs are open.

Shopify beginners: Here's your first Liquid snippet to know 👇
liquid
{% for product in collection.products %}
{{ product.title }}
{{ product.price | money }}
{% endfor %}
This loops through every product in a collection and shows the title + price.
That one loop powers most of what you see on Shopify stores. 🤯

@Chain_AlphaX @Cointelegraph Shopify already has tons of users, this is just a massive QoL update and will enable solo businesses to automate even more stuff, so it's a big win
English

@DavidMagee @mcfazeli @pmillegan @Shopify I mean sooner or later people are relying on Ai alot these days already
English

@mcfazeli @pmillegan @Shopify Is the demand there tho? Consumers really want to shop in ChatGPT? Maybe - certainly a big bet.

@ecom_rickx Getting 6k with a setup like that has to be a miracle
English

Random dude DM'd me yesterday:
"Rick my store keeps getting banned. I don't understand why. I'm doing €6K days."
Looked at his backend for 2 minutes:
• 2.3% chargeback rate
• No email flows set up
• Customer service replies in 4-5 days
• Generic AliExpress packaging
• Running ads with variants out of stock
Bro.
You're not getting "unlucky" with payment processors.
You're running a sloppy operation and wondering why they don't trust you.
Shopify sees unfulfilled orders stacking up.
Chargebacks coming in. Zero customer communication.
Of course they're going to ban you.
I told him:
• Get your chargeback rate under 0.5%.
• Auto-refund high-risk orders.
• Install prevention software.
• Reply to CS in under 48 hours.
• Set up proper email flows.
Also keep customers updated:
order confirmed, shipped, in transit, delivered.
They won't chargeback if they know where their shit is.
Check stock availability BEFORE you test.
Selling variants that aren't available = unfulfilled orders = chargebacks you can't win.
Get custom packaging once you hit €2K days.
Branded bags and thank you cards cost €2 extra but cut refunds in half.
Two weeks later he sends me this:
"Chargeback rate dropped to 0.4%. Store is still running. No holds."
Yeah. Because you fixed your backend.
This is what I mean when I say most stores don't die from bad ads.
They die from trash operations.
High chargebacks, no communication, shit quality, unfulfilled orders, etc.
And then you wonder why "payment processors hate dropshippers."
They don't hate dropshippers. They hate messy operators.
Clean up your backend or stay stuck at €5K days.

@martincox100 @Shopify Its crazy for struggling devs man💔
English

Is this how the @Shopify app store works now? The ads are just for spammy companies spending up big to buy market share by bidding on niche terms?
Kind of like Temu's ad strategy?
