Data collected by JAN shows that workplace accommodations are not only typically low in cost, but also positively impact the workplace in many ways. Check-out JAN's Low Cost, High Impact Report for a summary of cost and benefit data from employer surveys. AskJAN.org/topics/Costs.c…

Stories about pushing through unnecessary, discriminatory barriers are not inspiring. They're indicative of a profession that has normalized--and continues to justify--systematic exclusion and inaccessibility. No one should have to go through this. #CripTheLaw #AbolishTheBar

Did you know that having more education doesn’t help close the wage gap for disabled women: they face a wage gap at all education levels compared to nondisabled men? Disabled women legal professionals deserve to thrive. #DisabledWomensEPD #CripTheLaw

This year, disabled women are facing massive cuts to employment programs and services , and even our ability to track those cuts is being blocked. When data disappears, so do our stories. That’s why #DisabledWomensEqualPayDay matters more than ever.

Today is #DisabledWomensEqualPayDay, but it’s nothing to celebrate. Disabled women unfortunately aren’t paid the same as their white, male counterparts. Did you know that disabled women make just 50¢ for every non-disabled man’s dollar?

Disabled women and femmes deserve to work, earn, and thrive , not be trapped in segregated workplaces or paid subminimum wages. Congress must act now: - Pass the Transformation to Competitive Integrated Employment Act (TCIEA) - Stop the rollback of equal employment protections under Executive Order 11246 and Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act Pay equity means nothing without employment equity. #DisabledWomensEqualPayDay
