If you wanna get real specific let’s talk about the fact the the catcher goes into Rardin and initiates contact as Rardin is trying to get around him. It’s right there, clear as day, the catcher comes up without the ball and puts his fist into Rardin’s gut.

@BeLoudWearRed @statmanchad @_KLG3 I suppose different camera angles show different things, but this angle shows the runner attempting to go around and minimize the contact, but the catcher’s throwing arm trying to impede the runner.

Throw comes from behind the runner, catcher moves into line without the ball, runner tries to sidestep catcher.
