@HillsboroughSch @EducationFL Missed instructional time should not be a priority right now. Everyone has been through a lot during these past two storms. Recovery should be the main priority and NOT prepping for FAST in the spring.

We understand these extended closures raise concerns about the loss of instructional time and makeup days. We are in contact with @EducationFL on our status. At this time, our priority is safely reopening our schools, and we will communicate any decisions at a later date.

POST-MILTON UPDATE #2: Due to significant flooding, blocked access, and widespread power outages at our sites, schools and district offices will remain closed on Monday, Oct. 14. An update regarding our reopening status will be made by noon on Monday.
