@Wishtap_ Custom rig type means you can just use R15 and just use a custom player model? It’s not really artistic ‘freedom’ to limit yourself to a binary choice of one or the other. But I’m obviously being facetious, if they’re bringing up rates then it shouldn’t back an agenda

There is a huge 18+ audience for highly stylized indie games like Mewgenics and R.E.P.O. Forcing developers to use a specific rig type is an unnecessary roadblock to artistic freedom, something we're constantly told this platform is placing at the forefront. We shouldn't be penalized with lower payouts just for building custom rigs that fit our game's unique vision. Ultimately, restricting creative choices like this is a quick way to alienate developers and push them toward other game engines. #Roblox

Snow day! The fun part of having procgen is you can just go and change the generation when you have an idea. So now everything has frosting on it. A fun trick with snow particles is having the sprite slightly offcenter so you get some free wiggly snowflake drift action #robloxdev

@dryw3st I don’t think that’s necessarily the issue that is dealt with w the recent changes, it’s specifically low quality key-jingling content for kids that wouldn’t get past the 16+ tests. That means a brainrot *character* game still works if it’s actually ‘good’ (to be seen)

wish more people were interested in an r/place style roblox game. being able to cram an 1000x1000 image into datastores and replicate it across all servers in realtime was quite a technical challenge.
