Imagine this. A voyager opens @OthersideMeta to complete their daily tasks. After completing a task or two, they head to the Pulse District to complete the Void Dive challenge. Along the way, a portal opens unexpectedly off to the left.
They go through it, learning what to do next at each step. They are teased with a couple of quest point items that are picked up easily. Others are higher and require platforming. Even more are further away, the path to them unclear.
The voyager can then return through the portal with their haul, get rewarded with XP, and continue on their journey.
Another example. A voyager opens their Otherdeed to check in on the resource game. As they travel their usual path to the game post, a portal opens in front of a tree they’ve passed a dozen times.
And one more. A voyager navigates to the Travel tab in their profile. They see there’s been an update to @Mikey_Thereum’s The Mines game on his Veldan deed. They travel to his deed and head for the mines. Right before the entrance, they spot a portal off to the right.
The Otherside will be what we make it. I hope to build this experience some day soon. More foundational pieces are probably needed for builders. Who wants to help?
