$HYPE I don't think this is a pretty looking chart.
Onchain perpetual trading is a brilliant idea, and Hyperliquid has executed it better than anyone. But most of the time there's a disconnect between how good a protocol is and how the token actually performs.
Yes, trading fees go towards buybacks. That's good tokenomics on paper. But most HYPE tokens were airdropped, which means the cost basis of most holders is effectively zero. When holders have nothing at risk, conviction is weak and the path of least resistance is to sell into any strength.
Layer on top of that a vesting schedule that extends all the way into 2027, and 38.89% of total supply still earmarked for future emissions and community rewards. That's nearly 400 million tokens that haven't even hit the market yet.
Buybacks are fighting a war on multiple fronts: zero cost basis sellers, insider unlocks, and a future emissions could dwarf anything the fee mechanism can absorb in the near term.
tl'dr - Love the protocol, not the token. I'd be interested below $20.

wow Anthropic just published a crazy report on AI replacing your job and er... you might want to look at this: - #1 most at-risk jobs are computer programmers, financial analysts (rip excel bros) and customer service - most at-risk workers are female, white, older and higher paid. - BUT high-risk jobs *aren't* firing employees... they've STOPPED HIRING. biggest victims: college graduates (4X more likely to be fucked) - entry-level hiring has dropped 14% since chatgpt launched (for highest risk jobs) - SAFEST jobs are... bartenders, dishwashers and lifeguards - any manual labour that AI can't automate (yet) this accounts for 30% of the job market. - this was the scariest part: AI models are capable of automating most work TODAY but are prevented because of law and slow company adoption. so its not even a fucking skill issue its an ADOPTION issue. - now its important to understand that the study is based on real world data but also 'theoretical' intelligence. so take it with a pinch of salt. some jobs (manual labor) didn't even meet min. data reqs i applaud anthropic on being so damn transparent - they're literally the company behind claude who will be responsible for these impacts studies like this will help us figure it the hell out. LOT of change coming this year.

Major exchange reserves prioritize high liquidity and stability, though reserve sizes vary drastically. Binance leads with $136.02 billion, nearly five times the next largest, OKX ($28.91 billion).
Binance and OKX, the top two by reserve value, show a strong preference for Low Risk (Stablecoins) and Medium Risk (Tier 1 Blue-Chip) assets. Bybit is the most conservative, with Stablecoins making up over half (50.18%) its reserve. BTC and USDT are the largest single assets for most top exchanges, accounting for nearly 60% of Binance's reserve (BTC 31.15%, USDT 28.11%).
