Honestly, @jonathansfrakes , absolutely nailed the crossover episode. One of the best episodes of Star Trek. Huge kudos to everyone involved!

@moneill87 This is extremely true (even if the booking experience is an upsell nightmare). I did a bit of digging on the topic a few months ago and appreciate that airlines have a huge about of tech debt to contend with but still. The majority have a miss on the overall UX

@crstanier Flying with Ryanair is always awful but their app experience is excellent. Real focus on on-the day user journeys with contextual push notifications at the right time. Feels like they've invested a lot in joining up their IT stack relative to IAG airlines like BA and Aer Lingus.

This screen in the BA app 😑 so much potential here to improve the unhappy path for users even with the complexity behind the scenes

@jpgcc_ Yes. But first I’d like to see the 4 bookings I do have listed here 😂

I think I’ve walked past 10 in @LPL_Airport asking about my retail, check-in, security experience, bathroom XP. I love the idea of pulse checking CX (debates on accuracy aside) but this is a real world equivalent of pop ups and overwhelm. Great case for why UXR capability matters

What industry needs good design desperately, but is underserved because designers think it’s too boring?

I’ve tried 4 times to make bookings tonight with @AvisUK - all failed with a generic error message. Same on both web and app …

If you were trying to teach a non-designer practical user-research techniques, what resources would you recommend? Books, videos, tutorials? 💡 E.g. I work with epidemiologists and I want them to be able to ask patients and clinicians better questions on their use of software.

3 things I learned early on that have paid dividends in my career as a Product Manager: 1 ) Involve all your team early on in the process. This will help with providing context. 2) Spend as much time as possible having a clear WHY 3) Invest in building relationships and trust

Product Management is not about being in charge. Product Management is about helping, unblocking, and taking care of those around you that you are not in charge of.

@PMDiegoGranados Some are years ahead of me in my career - others are my peers. I tend to find when you open up your perspective of whom you can learn from - there is a wealth of amazing people around you. Just my 2p 🙂/end

@PMDiegoGranados I’ll reach out to individuals for certain topics. These are people have had the chance to work with and interact with through my career either by being in the same company, meets ups or geeking out about a discussion on medium/LinkedIn/Twitter /3

As PMs, always give the credit to your team (eng, design, data, research, ops). If you're looking for credit, you're in the wrong field.
