@_celia_bedelia_ This is due to the fact that women are having children at an older age. If women have children early in their prime they are much less likely to have complications or suffer permanent damages to their body.

I’d contend we were never built to be pregnant considering how much pregnancy and childbirth fucks with our bodies permanently. We should have less periods over the course of our lives for our own health. The best/easiest way to achieve this is through hormonal birth control. (Talk to your doctor about if this is an option for you!)

@annaroseridgway Google AI confirms Gucci. Nothing wrong in indulging in a 1,250 shirt when your salary is above 90k: (1) not when you’re build your image as the humble plumber, (2) knowing the value of money, reasonable people will not spend that much for a shirt. 90k still not enough.

I am no fan of Hannah Spencer's politics, however... 1) she is not a 'millionaire' plumber - she has one residence and a home she co-owns (but does not live in) with her ex-partner. These add up to around £1m. That is no 'millionaire' to me... 2) this is clearly not a Gucci shirt - it doesn't have the monogram or logo on it and does not look like a Gucci shirt. It is most likely just a vintage horsebit print shirt (and I am guessing she bought it not in Knightsbridge, but from one of the many vintage shops in Manchester!) 3) Why should it matter what she wears or the value of her home? If you disagree with her on VAT, disagree with her argument like an adult. Also, she is asking the PM to listen to the campaign to cut VAT on hospitality. If you are so pro-business... that should be a good thing! Hardly 'communism'!!

Yikes. I’m begging you, please get your annual exams and speak to your doctor - if pelvic exams are painful for you, there is almost certainly something wrong. Just not getting an exam won’t fucking help

@areyoflight @JeremyVineOn5 Honestly I don't think giving kids veggie food once a day would be a problem if it's done properly but from my experience of school meals it probably wouldn't be. From what I remember at primary school the options were either mac & cheese or chips with baked beans

I used to be a vegetarian for 20 years and then vegan for 5 years. When I was vegetarian, I was still at school. I would be given the same jacket potato and cheese every day - but I’m lactose intolerant. And I was vegan for five years, came out of it almost half dead. I believe kids and parents should make this decision, not a higher power. Many kids won’t tolerate being vegetarian. It’s reality.

Should all schools go vegetarian? TV chef Jamie Oliver says if schools only served vegetarian meals, it would improve health and safety, and free up cash for other needs. Would you be happy if your child were only served a vegetarian meal?
