Is $TAO overhyped or the “Bitcoin of AI”?
Here’s the uncomfortable reality:
$TAO is currently a ~$30M/month subsidized network — that’s ~$360M/year in emissions that must be absorbed by the market.
Now scale that narrative…
To justify a $10,000 TAO, you’re talking about thousands of companies collectively sustaining billions annually in real demand.
Not impossible — but let’s be honest about the timeline.
⸻
Meanwhile:
Apple, Google, Amazon, Microsoft
→ already spend tens of billions per year
→ already have global users
→ already monetize AI directly
They don’t need to buy intelligence externally —
they’re building it in-house on their own infrastructure.
⸻
And here’s the part nobody wants to say:
AI doesn’t care about narratives.
AI will choose:
→ cheapest
→ fastest
→ most efficient
→ most reliable execution layer
It will not pay a premium emissions token just to validate itself.
⸻
So the real question is:
Who is actually paying for this network?
Not miners.
Not validators.
External customers.
⸻
Because if demand isn’t coming from outside the system,
then the system is still subsidizing itself — not being used.
⸻
Short term?
Yes — it can run.
Speculation is powerful. Tesla proved that.
⸻
Long term?
AI will build its own marketplaces,
optimize for cost,
and ignore human hype cycles entirely.
⸻
This isn’t anti-TAO.
It’s just math.

$TAO VERY short term
As noisy as it is, and even though I’m committed for the long term… I love doing short-term price projections. Do you like tracking this kind of movement?
Most probable scenario 65% - Rotation between $285–320, followed by expansion toward $360–390.
Secondary scenario 30% - Liquidity sweep into $250–270, acting as a reload zone before continuation.
Low-probability scenario 5% - Loss of $240 opens room for a deeper structural reset.
Macro read: compression inside an expansion regime.
Again: do you like this kind of content?

Tao Outsider@TaoOutsider
$TAO Bittensor next natural move is the 340–360 range.

@Chomag77 @ChinaTodayTV You say this like it’s completely not doable, it’s extremely doable, if some work men can into a business block to carry out ‘maintenance’ you wouldn’t even bat an eye
English

@ChinaTodayTV Ok. I'll bite.
So according to you. The CIA or whatever, somehow planted explosives all over the upper levels of this large building, with no one noticing anything.
English

@DreadBong0 @X Not to mention all the uncreative shit everywhere on social media, people have lost all imagination, give it 10 years and everything will be generated through PC. At least hedging $tao we’ll be rich lol
English

Feels like 90% of posts and comments on @X are now just AI
Everything feels so dead and lifeless.. Its like all the humans disappeared
Becoming unusable.. feels pointless
Who am I even posting this for?

@indykaila @LFC So they’re gonna sack the manager who’s winning them the title to bring in Xabi who’s never managed in England? And somehow Gerrard’s involved? This is FIFA career mode levels of unrealistic.
English

@indykaila @LFC Lmao went from Bottling Guéhi to going for MICKY VAN DE VEN 😭😭 What an unserious club!
English

@DaveOCKOP Klapp twisting the knife in Sloths back? #LFC in a crisis and now Klapp says he'll come back? Showing his true back stabbing character????
English

@indykaila @NFFC What for?
You sacked a well-doing manager for someone who plays a completely opposite style of football mid-season. What were you expecting?
English

Van Dijk thinking he's blasted it over, Klopp losing it with the celebrations and Origi thinking he scored an equalizer 😂
