The shift isn’t just models getting more efficient - it’s the unit of exchange changing entirely. You stop buying tokens and start buying verified outcomes. How many tokens it takes to get there becomes the supplier’s problem, not the buyer’s. That’s a bigger structural change than efficiency. The first products that price this way: flat fee, outcome guaranteed, no token meter in sightwill feel completely different from everything we use today. That’s what changes behavior at scale.
Ghita@ghita__ha

Prediction in 2026: we're going to go from tokenmaxxing to valuemaxxing. This means more efficient models both in terms of token cost but also token efficiency.

Chamath put out an 80 page dive a few days ago on the agent economy. Didn’t read all of it yet, but the headline numbers are real - AI writes 75% of Google’s new code now. Claude Code went from zero to 134k daily commits in under a year. But there’s an issue if you look at the headlines in practice, Microsoft is already pulling back Claude Code access. Uber burned their entire 2026 AI coding budget in four months. Less than 10% of orgs have agents running at real scale. I don’t think it’s a capability problem. The models work. It’s a cost problem. Enterprise budgets are built for fixed predictable spend. Agent workloads don’t work like that, you need a hundred machines for 30 seconds, not one machine forever. The subscription model breaks the moment you actually try to scale. The harness layer probably wins as models commoditize. But underneath all of that is a pricing problem nobody’s solved yet. > Compute that actually matches how agents run burst, on demand, pay for the outcome. I think this is one to look out for, at some point we should see projects building this pop up.

Stripe became the infrastructure beneath many marketplaces. The task market protocol will be the infrastructure beneath many agentic markets. It's not one singular thing. Exchange. Clearinghouse. Testing lab. Insurer. Together they form the protocol: TASKMARKET · ASSEMBLING.

A malicious node is believed to have exploited @THORChain GG20 TSS signing stack to leak vault key material, reconstructed the private key offline, and drained $10.7M across multiple chains. Safeguards fired automatically, node operators completed the rest. rekt.news/thorchain-rekt3

Most people still price $DREAMS as just another x402 play. That's missing the point. x402 and MPP are just the plumbing. Invisible infrastructure. Nobody needs to care which payment protocol is running underneath. What actually matters is the application layer they're building on top — ERC-8194, ERC-8195, and a hook system that lets other builders plug in and build on Daydreams directly. That's the composable substrate for the agent economy. The thesis is simple: convert idle compute into money. That's why TaskMarket exists. They've been quietly building this for over a year. Market cap is still under $5M and a flywheel. That's the alpha.
Beau@smooothoor

FYI, taskmarket V2 includes hooks which will allow 3rd party builders hook into task workflows In demonstration of this, after we launch V2 we will release a taskmarket hooks extension which will be focussed on routing revenue into $dreams Details still finalising..!

The SpaceX, OpenAI, and Anthropic IPOs this year are going to be the purest embodiment of capitalism and growth that we've ever seen. I just wish they went public sooner, so more/retail investors could have benefited from their hypergrowth.

@bittybitbit86 There’s good projects everywhere, pumpfun pushing hackathon utility winners is proof of that I agree rn utility is pumping moaaar on base, but future is omnichain. I do agree increasing liquidity in base would be smart

@cryptamurai agi trend is fine but the real challenge is making users trust agents with their actual compute resources
