@c0nc0rdance @thebiologistisn My first job I found a set of slide stains left by the last guy. No idea how old they were, but one made the Geiger counter tick! Then I got to hear lots of fun stores from the hazmat crew who came for it.

It's 'Chemical Inventory Day' in my lab & I'm reminded of my 1st chemical inventory as an undergrad lab manager, when we found a bottle of picric acid from the 1960's & I got to meet the entire University Haz-Mat Emergency Response team in full gear.

Clotilde has been working in the mushrooms for 25 years. Packing and sorting mushrooms in a cooler can be cold work, but she is pleased she has a union contract with build in benefits & steady year round work that allows her to economically help her son and daughter. #WeFeedYou
