Why the next $BTC halving in April/May 2024 will likely mark our bull cycle TOP rather than the "start" like many are expecting and why we will likely be in the depths of a MAJOR bear market by 2025: I've previously explained that the amount of time we are spending consolidating/chopping at these levels is going to be the LONGEST amount of time we spend consolidating on our way to new all time highs. Once our parabolic advance kicks into gear multi-month consolidations like we are seeing now will be NO MORE. The chart below demonstrates exactly that. In both prior impulses of this cycle, the consolidation phases that preceded our parabolic advances took LONGER than the parabolic advance itself even though that move was 6-8x GREATER in price. Once we break out of this consolidation I expect that our parabolic phase will begin- and, based on the data below, would expect the parabolic phase to end somewhere around May 2024. In other words, I expect our next halving to essentially mark the top (or close to it) of this Bitcoin cycle that started in 2018 at 3k (you can read more about why I believe that the cycle from 2018 did NOT peak at 69k and is still ongoing here: x.com/crediblecrypto…) This also means that by the time 2025 rolls around we will likely already be well into a multi-year bear market, leaving those looking for new post-halving highs in 2025, disappointed. I'll cover my expectations of this "secular bear market" in a new Youtube video down the road.
