Had an amazing time at Philippine Blockchain Week 2025. @philippinebc_wk Crowd lined up nonstop. Some came for the merch, others for the prizes, but most wanted to see the ₿ilis Miner in action. Fast, efficient, and just simply plug and play.

I know I said I’d document my Web3 journey. I really thought I’d have the time to do it properly...post regularly, share reflections, maybe even drop some value along the way. But then everything happened all at once. Sometime in May, I decided to stop hovering on the sidelines and really get back into the space. I told myself: Be present. Be visible. Go where the people are. It sounds simple. But showing up (actually showing up) is a lot harder than it looks when you're also managing client work, building something of your own, and trying to stay human in the process. Still, I committed. And once I did, things moved fast. What I thought would be a slow re-entry turned into a full-blown sprint. Not online, but in real life. On the ground. In the rooms. At the booths. At the afterparties. At the mountain peak, even. (Yes, I went on a hike mid-chaos. Who even am I?) And what I've realized is... There’s something about finally being back in the room, after you’ve been away for a while. And don't get me wrong, I don’t regret the pause. If anything, stepping back gave me the perspective I needed to step in with more intention. Because I didn’t want to come back just to post. I wanted to come back and participate. So when my work mentor told me to “show up more,” (Hi! I know you're reading this!) I took it seriously. Since May 17, here’s what’s been on the calendar: 🔥 @OKXSEA Bitcoin Pizza Day 🔥 @cryptobilisph Pizza Day 🔥 @Bybit_Official Bayanihan 🔥 2-day #PhilippineBlockchainWeek 🔥 Spontaneous hangouts, new faces, and enough Telegram chats to fry a phone It’s been non-stop. But instead of feeling drained, I surprisingly feel… pumped up! There’s a different kind of energy when you're surrounded by people who get it. You stop performing. You just belong. And that’s been the biggest shift. I’m not showing up to prove anything. I’m just showing up, period. So, to everyone I’ve met over the past month, thank you. Thank you for making space for this awkward girl who used to feel like she had to code-switch just to keep up. And to the women quietly watching from the sidelines, wondering if there's room for them here, there is. Even with the SEC’s recent ruling on crypto content creation, I’ll keep showing up when and where I can. Because my mission hasn’t changed: ✨ I want a Web3 space that feels approachable, not exclusive. ✨ Opportunities that are earned, not performative. ✨ And visibility that doesn’t require being the loudest one in the room.
