My dad went from this interior (Merc AMG) to now a Launch Series Model Y. He was worried the Tesla wouldn't feel premium enough (at 1/3 of the price). Update: The Tesla has completely won him over. Says he won't go back. Uses FSD every drive, and loves the minimal interior.

@ryanjaycowan Not bad mate. Well done. I got fsd outright as it's done through a novated lease so I figured it's actually more like 6k outright, and if/when it's unsupervised it'll be worth a whole lot more than 10k. Probably would have got the YL if it was available at the time though.

Bought for $64k, selling for $60k. Did 8000kms. Regarding YL vs Y with FSD, depends if you want the space. If extra space is helpful, like it is for us, then Y L is just an amazing buy. I couldn't justify buying FSD outright, although will likely regret that in long run. I'd rather keep extra in TSLA and have sub.
