@MANULSUPERFAN Yessir, I was born and raised there, nothing like it in the US. Also, Dearborn Heights next door. Both cities have Muslim mayors, good guys too.

@CryptoHass Nope but I've been there a couple times! I honestly think Dearborn is one of the best established Muslim communities in the US at the moment, they have clinics run by Muslims, community centers, lawyers, Muslims in local government positions, and ofc women's only gyms

Thank God we have a competent president who is able against all odds to actually negotiate a ceasefire and stop the pointless killing of innocent Lebanese civilians by the Israeli occupation.

I think Hezbollah will lose Bint Jbeil in the coming days… The Radwan force has withdrawn, and fighters are covering their retreat to establish positions for another defensive line. Unless the biggest ambush in Hezbollah history is unfolding?

For the Trump administration to understand: The Strait of Hormuz is NOT OPEN. The UAE does not and will NEVER accept the Islamic regime in Iran imposing CONDITIONS on access. The UAE is not Britain or the EU. It does not accept any terrorist actor restricting freedom of navigation. As for Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia negotiating to keep the regime afloat, understand this: no state has a legitimate right to decide who may pass and under what terms. That is international law, not a bargaining chip. Shame on United Kingdom, NATO, European Union, and anyone who tolerates this regime’s terrorism and piracy.

Today was a very hard day for my country lebanon. Rest in peace to our martyrs, and I hope for a fast recovery for the wounded. Our hearts are with everyone in the South, Bekaa, and Beirut. stay strong and teach your children who the real enemy is. History will remember that 100 air strikes in 10 minutes could not break lebanon spirit. Let’s Look at the Facts If we look at this from a military side: Did they win? No. Are they at the Litani River? No. Did they take the weapons? No. Today's strikes don't change the fact that over 140 of their tanks have been burned on our land. It doesn’t change the fact that they are walking into our traps and losing their soldiers. Their own military and politicians are still fighting because they know they can't actually occupy Lebanon. The pain is huge, but militarily, today changed nothing. The Resistance is still capable fighting, still launching rockets, and hitting their ships and planes. These air strikes are just about killing civilians to look "strong" and satisfy their own people. But the battlefield is the same, and the future will prove this. We also have to talk about the strange stance of Prime Minister Nawaf Salam. By acting the way he did, he weakened Lebanon. Instead of showing we are one united country, he made us look divided, which hurt us politically. He basically made it harder to reach a ceasefire. It’s a shame that what we win on the ground, our politicians lose at the table.

@RepDonBeyer I’ll make it very clear to you that you and all your friends will do absolutely nothing to stop Israel from defending itself. America can do what’s in America’s interests, and Israel will do what’s in Israel’s interests. You are irrelevant.

The U.S. must immediately make clear to Israel that the ceasefire agreement is not and cannot be functional without a ceasefire in Lebanon. The American people want this war to end and bombing downtown Beirut is not a path to peace.

Lebanon and Beirut are bleeding… blood in the streets, and the cry of a people left alone beneath the rubble. This is not a passing pain… this is a national tragedy, and the people are paying the price with their lives, their safety, and their future. What we are living is not fate, but the result of Hezbollah’s weapons, which have destroyed the state and exposed the Lebanese to death. The decisions of August 5, August 7, and March 2 are clear… what are you waiting for? I call on His Excellency President General Joseph Aoun and the Council of Ministers to immediately implement these decisions, place all weapons under the authority of the state, and declare a state of emergency. If that proves impossible, then to invoke Paragraph 14 of UN Resolution 1701, request military support from Lebanon’s allies, and work toward dismantling Hezbollah in all its components, in order to stop the bloodshed in Lebanon and demand Israel’s withdrawal from southern Lebanon. Lebanon is not a battlefield… Lebanon is a nation whose people deserve to live in safety and lasting peace.
