The American people rightly do not want a war with Iran. President Trump’s war is not smart, it is not legal, it is not morally right, and it is not in our national interest. The risk to our servicemembers, citizens, and allies which it creates is not justified by Iran’s threat to our own security, and the threat of a wider conflict that destabilizes the region is significant. Recent history has shown repeatedly that wars in the Middle East are far easier to begin than they are to finish. 1/4

Instead of working on policies to make health care more affordable, the Trump Administration is promoting a sham Trump Rx website with access to drugs that already have cheaper generic options or can be found for the same or lower price through other discount services.

If Republicans know negotiations remain ongoing and if they truly cared about shutdown impacts, they’d move with Democrats to fund FEMA, TSA, cybersecurity, Secret Service & Coast Guard. My bill does that while keeping ICE & CBP negotiations separate.

Donald Trump and Republicans are trying to confuse Americans on purpose. The SAVE America Act doesn’t just require a simple photo ID. This bill would require a passport or a birth certificate to vote, documents which millions of Americans don’t have access to.

The idea that this illegal war is great for our long-term economy is laughable. The reckless destruction of oil and gas infrastructure combined with Republican policies to keep us dependent on fossil fuels means increased volatility that sends energy costs soaring. When energy costs surge, they're hard to bring down. And everything becomes more expensive: transportation, manufacturing, you name it.

The plaque honoring the brave men and women who defended the Capitol on January 6th was, by law, supposed to be hung up for public display by March 2023. It's March 2026 and the plaque is tucked away in a hallway, still hidden from the public. It's illegal and disrespectful.
