One of the opening acts of Trump's war of choice was the massacre of schoolkids in Iran. Those kids would be alive today if Congress had done our job and restrained the president's lust for power. Sadly, House Republicans again blocked a bill to end the war. A contemptible failure of moral leadership.

It's good that Trump is backing down from his brainless idea, which Marco Rubio previously described as illegal, that would further raise prices. Unfortunately it comes too late to undo damage to the global economy from Trump's crazed directives. This war is a disaster.

It seems, from all reporting, that ICE today - shot someone who was not attempting to run them over but, rather, "flee the scene" - was not the person they were looking for - who had a 3yr old in the car - who they dragged out into the street - all while not wearing body cams

They killed him in front of his little girl. "I watched a little girl crying with a little pink backpack on because she's never going to see her father again."

ICE under Trump, Mullin, and Stephen Miller is a lawless paramilitary force inflicting violence and chaos on American communities. We can't accept the killing of innocent people, most recently in Texas and Maine. ICE is beyond fixing—we should just dismantle it and start over.

Trump was asked what Americans should expect in his war with Iran, which has already lasted many times longer than he promised. He responded with a comparison to the Vietnam War. This is insane.

Over 4 million Americans have lost food assistance because of Trump and Republicans' Big Ugly Bill. People will go hungry at the hands of this Republican majority.

Trump tried to game the courts to bless an illegal scheme to siphon nearly $2 billion in taxpayer dollars into a slush fund and shield his family from tax audits. The courts saw through it, shut it down, and referred administration lawyers for possible disciplinary action.

At every turn, Republicans have pushed health care further out of reach for more people. When they’re forced to choose between profits and families, they choose to leave families behind every time.

Yesterday the National Capital Planning Commission came up with a mind-boggling solution to fit Trump's arch under the Height of Buildings Act: Shrink the arch down to 130-ish feet, then expand the golden statue to get to 250 feet. This would make the arch, like, 40% statue.

For decades, the Endangered Species Act allowed America to innovate without harming wildlife. This move by the Trump administration will have catastrophic impacts on endangered species and the habitats that support them.
