Crypto is crashing, but I think it’s a good thing. I believe 99% of the people and projects I’ve met in this industry were fraudulent or specifically designed to rip off investors by deceiving them. I was naive, and some people like Hatu and Ifty probably laughed at me. However, living off fraud is not what I’m interested in. Crypto is crashing and most projects are useless and irrelevant. Some genuinely good projects have been buried under all the crap and noise. Maybe the crypto bubble will finally pop and most of the useless scams will die. Privacy is essential. Zero-Knowledge (ZK) Proof solutions are the best approach, but of course not the ones institutions like. They love that you can trace everything on the blockchain so they can control and potentially seize your money. All of this will eventually settle. I don’t see crypto dying. If the liars and scammers give up and move on to something else, that will be a very good thing.

I use Claude ant it is good with UE 5, however compared with Javascript or python, there is not a lot of source code in blueprints to train the AI, what Epic Game wants is to have a reverse engineering way to get games source code to train the AI. But do we want to have our games source unpacked for the AI to learn our secrets?

3 reasons Unreal Engine struggles with an agentic workflow: 1) AI can't read uasset/umap files with no editor open 2) the source code is super bloated 3) much of the documentation is outdated or wrong it's amazing how much of our second brain is full of gotchas & tricks for UE5.

that's not how unreal engine works the character capsule collides with all the other colliders predefined, the character is just playing an animation but the capsule is what actually interacts with other collisions the game also has Ik animation for the characters so there's no issues with elevations

Currently finishing the new combat animations. I reduced the combat to 2 inputs but there's a ton of moves you can combo as you like based on timing and stance. Every class has its own style of fighting armed and unarmed, and dual wielding. Platforming is also done, and already have a level done in the way I wanted to do it originally. I can build levels now modularly, so making more should be a lot faster. Aiming for early September with the overhaul, to hit Steam by October, but we'll see. So far, it's a much better iteration of my vision in every way. #Nekurogahara #DevLog

People say AI is expensive. Let me break it down. I pay $200 a month for Claude and get PhD-level intelligence on every subject known to humanity. Now price a human. Globally, on average, maybe $10,000 a year in food to run one brain. Plus the twenty odd years it takes to grow it first. So it's $10,000 a year for human-level compute, versus $200 a month for intelligence that clears any human on any topic. That's why it's scaling this fast. The price of human intelligence is just uneconomical compared to machines.

Anyone who pretend that AI is good at coding haven't used it. Here is Claude Fable. One file has several errors, all the same, a FString assignation to fix. Instead of fixing all the source file, it fixes them one by one, forcing me to use more tokens. Until I get in an argument and then he finally find that adding an include will fix all the errors at once. If you know coding, your brain has a better value than Claude Code Fable.
