New Crypto Narratives to keep a close eye on Uniswap v4 One new narrative I am keeping an eye on is Uniswap v4, which introduces hooks for pool customization enabling - Dynamic fee adjustments - Automated liquidity management - Lower gas fees. Projects that can take advantage of this and incentivize liquidity providers can create a new yield source that outperforms Uni v3. Protocols to watch - @bunni_xyz is building novel ways of shifting liquidity directly on top of Uni v4. (I bought and hold a bag). Incentivized Liquidity Protocols Liquidity is crucial for DeFi but traditional incentives are inefficient and fragmented. One solution to this are protocols that bridge the gap between protocols and providers. Protocols to watch @roycoprotocol- Offering unique incentives or mechanisms to attract and retain liquidity providers. @turtleclubhouse- Offers boosted incentives for liquidity providers. Prediction Markets We have already seen the growth of protocols like @Polymarket but there hasn't been an alternative that has gained traction yet. Protocols to watch @DriftProtocol- Working prediction markets that are gaining volume @azuroprotocol- Building infra for these markets @predictdotfun- Prediction platform on Blast Chain Abstraction The difficulties with this narrative has been the multitude of projects trying to solve the same issue as well as how a protocol would benefit from abstracting away the complexities of blockchain. Ultimately not sure which project will benefit the most but the one that does could gain significant market share. Protocols to watch @NEARProtocol - Focuses on usability and scalability, aiming to make blockchain interactions seamless. @AbstractChain - An emerging player in simplifying blockchain interactions for broader adoption. Low Latency Blockchains While some dislike these chains due to VC funding, there is a decent chance that some of these chains will hold new opportunities. People will always be looking for the next SOL. Protocols to watch @SuiNetwork- Trying to create the fastest blockchain @Aptos- Different implementation to SUI but similar goals @monad_xyz- EVM compatible L1 that claims to reach 10,000 TPS
