ONE LAST REVERSE FOR HISTORY It’s time to finally turn the page. The @fantasy_top_ team has decided to bury Reverse. It will still be playable, but with 0 ETH to distribute and far fewer frags starting next season, there’ll be no way to expect a decent ROI from buying cards specifically for this league. It’ll basically just become a “trash” league, where you dump cards you don’t know what to do with and don’t want to sell. Before never speaking of it again, I still want to thank the team for giving me some of the best fun I’ve ever had in web3 🤝 I’ll always remember my first podium (Main 22) and my first win (Main 31), which pushed me to go all-in on the game. And what about that blessed stretch between Main 38 and 43 when I never left the podium, with nearly 0.3 ETH in rewards every week? 🥹 In the end, my “career” in Reverse stands at: 🥇 14 wins (with 4 consecutive ones) 🥉 28 podiums Only Franz did better, and he’ll forever remain the greatest Reverse player in Fantasy. So it’s not without emotion that, for the last time, I’ll be lining up my Reverse decks, hoping to get my 15th and final win: ➡️ Makesy (3 ⭐️): For the last time, thank you for your transparency with players, thank you for inventing the “Makesy strategy.” You’ll forever remain in the Hall of Fame of the greatest heroes 🙏 ➡️ Laurence (4 ⭐️): Deactivated his account yesterday. Needs to be monitored closely, but he already disappeared for several weeks this summer. If he doesn’t reactivate before the tournament starts, he’ll be in all my top decks ➡️ Wazz (4 ⭐️): Announced a 2-month break. Many panic sold after the announcement, but I took the chance to buy a few. Guaranteed 0 for this Reverse tournament, stable inflation until his return (confirmed by the team), and a nice flip opportunity when he comes back at 1 star, even if it’ll probably be possible to buy cheaper in the coming weeks. --- These are the 3 must-have heroes for the final Reverse in history. To combine with them, here are the heroes I’m interested in, from highest to lowest stars: ➡️ Selkis (8 ⭐️): Took #1 last tournament thanks to his video on Charlie Kirk’s death. His last top 50 was back in tournament 41. On average, he scores around 400, which is still a lot for Reverse, but at 8 stars he’s a good card to play if you have him (especially in rare or epic). ➡️ WSB (7 ⭐️): Went viral recently with the announcement of his trial. But apart from that, it’s now just a resold account used to shill garbage. Lots of followers, very little reach. I’d be surprised if he scores over 300. ➡️ Charlotte (6 ⭐️): We’ve won many tournaments thanks to Charlotte… Recently though, she’s been far more active and even hit 700 points last time. Not such a great Reverse card anymore, but at 6 stars I’m still tempted to play her. ➡️ Psycho (5 ⭐️): More active lately, but still blanked 4 times in the last 10 tournaments. Tempting at 5 stars. ➡️ Smokey (5 ⭐️): Average of 250 over the last 10 tournaments. Not a winning card, but a solid score/stars ratio. ➡️ Terminal of Truth (5 ⭐️): Rarely goes over 250 points, similar to Smokey. ➡️ Kain (4 ⭐️): Unless there’s a big Infinex update, shouldn’t go over 200 points. ➡️ Verslalune (3 ⭐️): Risky hero in Reverse since he can drop a banger at any time, but without one his score is always very low. ➡️ Nani (2 ⭐️): On vacation next week, should score very low or even 0. ➡️ Intuitio (1 ⭐️): If anyone has the stats, I’d be curious to know how many times I’ve played Intuitio in Reverse since the beginning 😂 Good luck to everyone in this final Reverse, and see you next season in Bronze and Silver ! 🫡

🌿 My chapter with @fantasy_top_ quietly ended. It’s been 2 months since I last posted. Not because I had nothing to say but because something was shifting inside. Taking distance wasn’t the cause, it was the consequence. A slow inner rearrangement of priorities. And little by little, the noise of Web3 stopped resonating. Not out of rejection, not out of frustration, simply because the inner space it used to occupy had changed. After a year and a half playing Fantasy Top every day, immersed in timelines, strategies, cycles and dopamine, the spark naturally softened. Intensity eventually turns into quiet and I started listening to that quiet. These last weeks, I’ve been reconnecting with what matters the most to me: - being present - being useful in real life - spending time with my family - living quieter, slower, deeper, far away from the constant noise I also realized I was consuming brilliant Web3 content, but that it no longer nourished me where I needed it most. So I sold every card and stopped naturally, without announcement, without making a scene. And today, I simply want to say thank you. First, to @cryptowriter, @Alexandre_NFT7 & @HiPiair for all the private conversations we had, the countless Friday @fantardi0 Spaces we hosted together, the laughs, the debates, the energy, the ideas… And also to @BetmanJoe, with whom I’ve been exchanging since early 2021 thanks to Sorare, @CFDT4, @Frenchiee, @Lamsito_eth, @rusk0f and everyone I met through this game including @Hribson, @twix4us and so many others I could name. Fantasy Top gave me some of the most meaningful interactions I’ve ever had online. I genuinely hope I’ll meet some of you IRL one day. Good people recognize each other, that’s my only compass. I’m not shutting web3 out of my life, but it will remain secondary. I’ll be present here again, mostly in French, sharing what resonates with me: philosophy, society, human relationships, nature, food, lifestyle, family... This morning I sold the very last card in my @fantasy_top_ inventory after several weeks of inactivity and hesitation. I’m not here to kick a project when it’s down or to complain. I consider myself lucky to be among the 136 players who made money from the game (I even made the top 15), thanks to some crazy performances on the Reverse. I’m just really sad about how this project is ending. I truly believe we had everything to succeed with an incredible community and a game that was as fun as it was unique. But a web3 project is just like a web2 startup: having an amazing idea and the funding to go with it isn’t enough. Poor management, a few strategic missteps, and it’s over. I’ll just end by saying a huge thank you to the amazing people I got to meet through this game, especially @Magicmajis, @Alexandre_NFT7, @Frenchiee, @HiPiair, @BetmanJoe and @CFDT_4 🫶 It’s time for me to definitely close the chapter of Reverse Guy and focus on my IRL projects 🫡
